An alleged gang member is dead when he was accidentally run over by a sport-utility vehicle driven by a member of his own gang during an early Sunday gang fight on the South Side.
Andrew Aleon, 25, of an unidentified home address, was struck by a vehicle on the 2800 block of East 95th Street and was dead on the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Aleon, an alleged gang member, and other members of the gang to which he belongs approached members of a rival gang as they left a gas station and began beating them with their fists and bats about 1:45 a.m., police said.

This clown (Latin count) just recently got out of prison a few weeks ago. He didnt like the way anothers hat was tilted, started a fight, and ultimately gets ran over by his own people who are doing the ramming in a suburban. Absolutely priceless.. I was there on scene and this guys tattoos all over his body definatley indicated that he was a piece of shit. Karma is a Bitch!!!!
Oh, and its all on video recording on the premises of a gas station.
Funny thing is I was at Abbott Park earlier that day. Seems the coach who was shot was having it out with the President of the baseball league. The coach stated the president threatened to shoot him. The president stated that after a verbal argument/minor shoving match, president stated "People have been shot for less than this."
By the way, president is about 5'2 with a Nepolean (sp) Complex.

Felony murder. You are responsible for whatever injury comes to victims or your co-defendants during the commission of a felony. Although it might not have been charged that way absent the death, battery with any object that can cause death or battery on a public way equals aggr. battery.
Just as an aside, there is a case where two guys are robbing a store, cop fatally shoots one them, remaining guy is convicted of felony murder, conviction upheld.
You guys should not be laughing at this poor individuls misfortunate accident, he is somebodies baby boy, maybe more than one babies daddy, he was probally just getting ready to start studying for his GED so that he could start getting ready to start looking for a job, so he could start getting ready to start supporting his babies mommas and maybe he was just starting to get ready to start going to church, so shame on all who are laughing about this
I heard the "victim" had no graduation photos for the press. Instead they took a picture of the graduate tassle hanging from the rearview mirror of the striking vehicle.

Accident is something somebody does unintentionally and without malice.
Murder is something somebody does on purpose with malice.
He purposefully tried to kill the black kids. He killed somebody else. He acted intentionally and with malice. It is a murder.

they already hired that shit firm L & L and they are trying to find a way to sue the gas station, the beating victim and the City for not protecting the lil essey. The firm is also seeking to place a lien against the Latin Counts vast fortune.

You are correct...but you have to remember that this is Crook County, and, knowing the ASA's like we all do, we know they'd never approve charges.
Interesting, I saw a show I think it was America's Dumbest Criminals which showed a criminal who had been arrested suspected of bulgary. As the police took him down the road where it had occured the cop turned left and the criminal shouted out "No you want to go right here".

What you said is 100% true. However this is Crook County which makes this and accident and a ticket for no license and one for no insurance but it gets thrown out in court because the victim didn't show up.
