A $1.1 million state grant from the Illinois FIRST public works fund was going to ensure that.
- The taxpayer money that was supposed to bring it back -- the state cash plus $200,000 from the City of Chicago -- is gone.

The state of illinois and the city of chicago long ago admitted that they do not have the resources to monitor spending on these projects. The money is allocated because some elected official puts a bill in for pasage, the money is granted and off they go. The feds are the only ones who hold anyone to some type of accountability. Here, it usually is the task of the Illinois Attorney General, when they feel like it.
I'd like to think that shining a spotlight on corruption would put the much deserved heat on the corrupt, unfortunately it seems like instead of running off like cockroaches, now a days they dig in and seem to point a light right back, attacking those who question the corruption, this BS seems to be all to common place, it even seems to have our local media just backing down, looking the other way, maybe trying to find a story that doesn't ruffle the feathers of the corrupt. Socialists control the whole education system. It's no wonder, since students are taught revisionist history. I saw it with my own eyes when I was called to an elementary school on the west side and happened to notice students essays hanging on the walls in the hallway there. I perused several of them, and they all put Columbus's arriving in the new world in a bad light. The socialists are poisoning young student's minds.
My step-son attends U.I.C., before B.O. was elected, the school GAVE all the students the B.O. book, (which William Ayers most likely wrote) Dreams from my Father. That's all well and good, if they give the students a book by the opposition candidate, we know they didn't give a conservative book to students.
The liberal leaning networks are hemorrhaging viewers, because the taxpaying people are finally getting a clue, that they are getting screwed by the Democrats with the help of the media.

I have seen the Laser scanner for crime scenes. It is a great tool, but it is still in it's infancy with the department. It will be used for major crime scenes once it is fully up and running. It is a computerized machine which needs to be used very specifically. The 2 units they have are a another tool for the department which will be accesible for the D Unit. Thanks to Commander Murphy for pushing for newer and better equipment for forensics to help the detectives on crime scenes. At least Commander Murphy is trying to move the department forward. He is a great guy who is trying to help not hinder.

Not in 22 for 2010, but if the schedule works in a couple of more districts, this schedule may be department-wide in 2011. The 4 on 2 off has the biggest approval ratings by far where it has been test piloted.
If an ordinary edison park resident ran against Doherty, would people support him? I've honestly thought about it.

This Alder-scum as well other elected officials in Humboldt Park area have been supportive of the supposedly none profit developer Brickerdike(the biggest thief of all)As you know our City just like the Federal Government have one of the biggest deficit ever, but we have groups like Brickerdike partnering with some of the sell-out elected officials that like to prey on our money, wasting it like if it was theirs....I don’t want to take a lot of your time reading this but is important--they want to build a affordable apartments for the FREE LOADERS and SCUM-BANGERS for the minimum price of $386,000.00 per unit, having hundreds of foreclosures- residents loosing their houses- not enough police officers- lack of city services etc. But they like to give and share our money away among each other.
ANT (Armitage Neighborhoods Together) group has FILED a Lawsuit against the illegal zoning changes made by the Alder-Scum’s of the 35th and 26th ward.
Anyone who’s interested in running for office in any of these two wards do not hesitate, our group has collected hundreds of signatures opposing the Zapata project and they could be yours on Election Day

There is a giant army of boot lickers that live in the area. It would be an uphill battle to counteract the imbedded minions. Frank Coconate tried and was soundly defeated. He had an ax to grind after being fired and had a caustic campaigning style that rubbed people the wrong way.
If you're fairly articulate, and can organize an effective campaign with volunteers, than anything is possible. It depends on how the neighbors feel about the direction of the community.

Maybe I'm missing your point but there is a Salvation Army at that location for the past few years.
This principal further is tolerating numerous felons surrounding the schools corners dressed in lime green shirts under the guise of security (allegedly receiving gov funding). Woman running the show has a 8 page rap. Why hasn't the principal complained about this or signed complaints as they trespass on school property. This situation should be on the principals back, not the coppers who solved the crime.

The BEST was hearing the desk get an event number today for a pod mission on a camera. Funny thing is, that camera's been out of order for a while now... duh.
