Wednesday morning Fow's Good Day Chicago asked Alexi about his alleged Mob ties. He would not answer but instead tried to put Kirk down. The newcaster asked again and this time asked why he was being so evasive. Alexi again said he answered the question and again put Kirk down. He clearly did not answer the question and denied dancing around giving BS answers. Hopefully everyone noticed this who was watching!

Think about it. Kirk is many times better than a mobbed up banker. Am I happy about some of his stances on social issues? No. But on fiscal policy and foriegn policy he is way better than Obamas flunky.
The second amendment stuff will work itself out in March in MacDonald v. Chicago.
The Cap and trade vote hurt him, and he knew it. He has spent quite a bit of time backing away from it. That may be a moot point too, with all the AGW revelations of late.(The lies and faulty modeling).
I think Haley Barbour (R-MS) said it best recently, "Someone that you agree with 80% of the time is not your enemy, they are friend and ally."
Is Kirk a Rockribbed conservative? No. This is Illinois, not Texas. We have more democrats than Republicans. He is the best chance to stick it Obamas eye and take that seat.
Add in if Brady pulls it off, Brady will energize downstate voters to turn out. Although they may not like Kirks stances on some issues, they will pull the lever for Brady and most likely hold their nose and vote for Kirk.
Also look at how demoralized the Dems are. I saw on another website the vote totals in 2004 were 1.6 Dem ballots pulled to about 400 g Repub. This cycle the margin was down to only 100 g seperating the two.
Not voting for Kirk or staying home will not help. It will only put in the guy that helped cause Illinois bright start to lose over 85 mil inot the senate.
Kirk is a jagoff RINO. No way in hell I will vote for him.

This was a story about Ike C following his dad to jail as alderman. Maybe it will involve William J.P. and his condo builder nephew Jimmy, who has been putting "Luxury Condos" full of Section 8's all over our neighborhood.

I agree with the post about Garrido at least taking action. Say what you will, at least this guy stepped up and put himself out there, instead of just bitching about things like most of the posters on this blog. And his own police force couldn't find it to support him. I think that's pretty lame. I'm not a cop, but married to one, and I really hate the way most of you behave on this blog toward each other. It's very unproductive...bordering on destructive. Divide and conquer is what the administration is doing to YOU. Wake up and support each other---in everything.

He asked why an officer who was under investigation and about to be criminally charged was allowed to continue to make arrests that would eventually be thrown out and subject to lawsuits ( which are rolling in by the day and making Loevy and Loevy a shitload!), and ENDANGER EVERYONE HE WORKED WITH!!!!!!!

Don't f--- around with this. Millions of people read this blog every day. It's the third most read blog in the city. It's a far more potent force multiplier than that church circuit Daley and his hack lackeys are going to fall back on to keep his hack ass in office.
We're waiting for the Mayor Hoffman petitions and campaign materials to start circulating. I'm going to do something for the first time in my long voting career and donate campaign funds. Thank you. This campaign moved fast and furious. In only 5 mos Hoffman managed to come so close to an already seated official with name recognition and lots of special interest money. I agree that Hoffman has a future here in Chicago. I expressed that to him. I left an insider organization which I worked for 12 yrs and went to Hoffman campaign. In doing so I was threatened, isolated, bad mouthed, lost many "friends", and a lot of personal grief. All because of moving to the Hoffman Campaign. So what does that tell you? There is a fear by the political elites right now. Hoffman personified their worst fear. It ain't over people. Hoffman is not disappearing.
I will regroup my life. I have no regrets for doing what I believed. But that is the magnitude of the machine. It is more than a 9-5 thing. It owns people. It takes their will and turns it to fear. That is its main ingredient- Fear. They picked on the wrong Irish girl though.
