Hey FOP?
A bunch of comments are wondering...
...wouldn't the 20 April meeting be an obvious opportunity to revisit the "No Confidence" vote? You could invite the entire media contingent to see it in action. And then explain how the Unit Reps present actually represent the vast majority of officers and detectives.
Just a thought.

No confidence from me for the possum yellow belly.
Are you talking about FOP Lodge 7? Useless bunch of spineless weasels. Nolan was the worst of them, but Donahue, what a waste of air. You see other police unions calling BS in the media when it needs to be done, here where it needs to be done regularly they do nothing. I just hope that what ever King Dick promised them to stab us in the back is as much BS as they are. This department and it's unions need true leaders across the board. What we have now is just a pathetic shame. I can say for the first time that I am embarassed to say I am a Chicago Police Officer.
Yea sure!! RRRRRRRRRRRRiiiight!
Good Oppurtunity!
Hey FOP. Got my newsletter today. Nothing anywhere about the behavior issue that has affected 600 plus officers. Everyone at FOP is tight lipped about the program. How come? How come Syd Davis? How come Kathy Moore? How come Greg Bella? Maybe we should schedule a march on the FOP hall? Maybe we should.
The very fact of this union, the FOP, taking money from us to do what for us is as repulsive as the do nothing attitude taken for the officers that were placed on the " program".
WIth each passing day the reasons for a vote of no confidence become more and more obvious. C'mon FOP do something right for a change.
I was able to read Donahue's writing concerning the issue of the pension. President Donahue - please get someone to amend\edit your writings. President Donahue's writing was terrible.
NAH! Richie wouldn't like that, and Richie's wish is Marky's command!
I DONT THINK DONAHOE IS THAT BRIGHT.
This is our Union so you guys call the Union! They are to respond to us, the people they represent! Please do this FOP. I do understand that the majority of you will be retiring this year, including the head of FOP, but remember, what is passed still has impact on you and your livelihood!

Why not put your efforts into getting yourself out of the Behavioral Alert program? You got yourself in it. Get yourself out of it.
Hey,how many president do they need ,i like d maria announcing spring uniforms shit, thats what a second vice president does. They r useless. At least nolan would appeaered on tv once in a while and said something about something.Call one of those guys ask a question and they say ill get back to u on that.USELESS
That would mean the Flop would actually have to do their job.
Take a no confidence vote for Donahue, Bella and Doggerty..Conventry is sticking it to injured officers and those on disability. FOP is doing nothing to stop or help these officers. densey cole needs medical supplies, a bed, and help, Mary is writing all this on FACEBOOK.
just ran into a guy from the old neighborhood and the first thing out of his mouth was " what the f**k is going on with the police dept.... even the people who live in sleepy hollow know what a mess the cpd is.... you manage from the top, you lead by example, and running like a scared cat and hiding under the couch is not leadership, its cowardice.... it would be fitting if the appellate court currently hearing the cozzi case overturns the conviction and releases him from prison--- then that possum head can hand billy his button and shield back and send him out to the street where he belongs....
Off topic
If you haven't yet, take a few minutes to read Fr Nangle's article in the FOP newsletter.
Sorry babe. That shit has already sailed. Don't wanna rock the boat.
That would mean that the FOP would have to strap on a pair.... Ive never scene them do that outside of closed door meetings.....
But I'll keep an open mind

................. Who knows where he came up with that number?
Neil must be hitting the sauce again.
His wife better sleep with one eye open.
The FOP is not representing the Chicago Police Dept.
I don't know what they do, but I know they don't represent the CPD.
Anyone else feel this way ???
Please sign on.
Thanks
with Donahue retiring this year, you can bet he does not want to rock the boat and just go with the flow. he will be out of the picture in the near future.
Well, you know this is marks last year ,Daley has a nice spot ready 4 him for staying quiet.Never have i seen a union say nothing ever ,nothing,in our defense. Why morale is down, all the lawsuits,bs cr#s. I remember when Mearday was arreted ,at least Nolan said he was a punk gangbanger who will continue to get in trouble until hes in jail or worse dead. These guys say nothing. It would be nice to have 2 unions and be able to pi9ck which one we wanted to be part of.Were stuck with these goofs ubtil the next group of politicians run making all these promises. Hopefully we get someone with balls. These guys need to be voted out.Theyre too comfy, time 4 a complete house cleaning

Why would they do or say anything that would upset the Mayor or the City, they just have to sit back and collect those FAT UNION PAYCHECKS!
Clearly an ideal opportunity to vote 'no confidence.' Maybe officers do have confidence in him, I don't. Let's prolong his and shortshanks discomfort over this o
Whole thing. By then we'll be happy or even more mad with what the arbitraitor's ruling.
All those guys need to remember that it's not about just those few in the FOP officer, but it's about the troops on the street. REMEMBER THAT MARK SID AND GREG
Let FOP cozy up to J-Fled; the more they oppose him, the more that endears him to the Midget.
hey if you don't like Donahue & co.run for office
they are doing a good job , we haven't taken any unpaid furlo days or lost any benefits
without FOP we would have taken a pay cut , you hair gels don't have a clue of how important FOP is
grow up , most union leaders make alot more money than FOP and their employees don't have the benefits, paid holidays , personal ,bfd and salary we receive
look at what you have not what you think you deserve

Again. More fucking lies. FOP is the ONLY UNION to get rid of coventry. Arbitrator just ruled that City can only use Coventry as an advisor. They can no longer hold up or deny our health care like they can for every other City worker, including Fire. FOP is way out front on this one, you stupid piece of shit. Fire is still jerking off with their grievances and the rest of the City unions caved in to coventry years ago. GFY! Loser.

Probably never been to a meeting, have you? If you guys had the first clue as to how the police and their unions are suffering unpaid furloughs, layoffs, givebacks, pay cuts, etc., etc., aroung the country, you would appreciate the FOP and just how well they have served the membership. Being a "big mouth" on the news might be fun, but it doesn't pay the bills. I am not embarrassed of my job, but since you are, please consider quitting and taking your crybaby act elsewhere.
FLOPity, Flipity, flapity Foo. will someone answer the phone about the possible working while on furlough?
What kind of a secret deal did u guys make?
With each passing day the reasons for a vote of NO CONFIDENCE vote become more and more obvious. C'mon FOP do something
Do something, get on the air (media) about this f&*%ing coward in the sups office!
In 30 plus y o j, I have always got 100 % service from the FOP.
They do their best...Period. They do not deaerse the b.s throen at them.
God bless the FOP for all they do for us. The dues we pay is nothing compared to what we get.
Ask guys in the PBA...all b.s. lip service.
