Finally, a group of nuns (Mother Teresa's order) from Lafayette want to drive up and visit him. Outside sources advised me that an inexplicably complicated "background check" of the Catholic nuns by the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) has prevented the good sisters from visiting Bill and bringing Holy Communion..
(NOTE: The U.S. Dept. of Justice which includes the BOP monitors this site daily from D.C. and its suburbs of Potomac, MD and Arlington, VA.)
First of all, Bill Cozzi's imprisonment was part of J-Fled's sadistic political agenda for a CPD scapegoat. He was suspended without pay for TWO YEARS before the COWARDLY bully even took office.
(1)Why wasn't Mr. Cozzi lodged at FCI Oxford, WI rather than 1,000 miles away from his friends and loved ones?
(2) Why the obscene delay in approving the visits of the Roman Catholic nuns? A potential breach of "security"?

I recently read a post about "pro-active policing is what we need." I completely agree with this, and I do partake in it on a daily basis. However, here is the kick in the nads. I was recently in juvenille court w/ (1) female Judge Sheehan of Branch 56. The case one where the officers stopped an individual for a traffic offense which led to a TVB which led to the recovery of an amount of cannabis. For some reason this went to trial, and according to the good judge the officers testified very credibly and the youth not so.
Well, then came the ruling. The judge sheehan(noticed now lower cased) ruled not guilty. Her reasoning was that the stop was pretextual. Not knowing what this meant, I went home and looked it up. According to her, basically the officers stopped the young lad for a traffic violation in hopes of finding something better (ex. cannabis).
Here in lies my problem. Is this not exactly what good police work is? Or is it that we should simply be pulling people over in order to simply issue a traffic citation. Oh yes, in this case the officers could not do that since the driver was not licensed, and a custodial search revealed the illegal contraband.
I am proposing a vote against the good judge when she is up again, do to her rulings against pro-active policing and taking criminals off the streets for the crimes that they commit.

I've handeled a few shootings where the feds were involved.Let me tell you,when you arrive on the shooting scene,the feds immediate supervisor is there.He will give you the name and star # of his officer that was involved,plus the make and calibre of his weapon and thats all!The officer and his weapon are long gone from the scene.I don't know if the dicks have any luck either in interviewing the involved agent and getting the weapon,but I think not.It's a far cry from all the hoops we make our people jump thru.

You have indeed spoken the TRUTH, my friend, which has rarely been printed here on this blog, and never has been stated in the media here in Chicago. It's official J-Fled is scared of "Boo Boo the Fool." He has demonstrated that he really has no need for Hispanics or Blacks in his ranks and does not value their lives very much either in the hood. Then when shooting comes to his very news conference in the ghetto, he bolts. It was not even worth his time. He would have stayed if it was Lincoln Park. He took his much lauded federal experience and failed to act. If I was the family of that victim I would sue the shit out of the city.It is on tape for all to see.

You have indeed spoken the TRUTH, my friend, which has rarely been printed here on this blog, and never has been stated in the media here in Chicago. Weis has thrown aside the careers of numerous high ranking black and latinos, with nary a peep from anyone. Glad Lopez was able to throw WEISel's bullshit back in his and Masters's
faces. It will be quite a few years before many can look upon what now exists for the CPD with any sort of real pride and trust.

I didn't write either one of these rants. However, I can tell you that the word "maroon" (a deep shade of red) can be used as SLANG for "moron" (an imbecilic person). If you listen to old Bugs Bunny cartoons you will hear it all the time. Spellchecker would not catch this as an error as "maroon" is a proper word.

Our boss has warned us in advance that if J-Fled, Jody, Jughead or what ever comes into our district for roll call, we are to set up a three block security screen around the station. All traffic is to be blocked and diverted. Extra personnel from a new Special Unit will be brought in to clear the area of potential hazards and provide emergency egress for our fearless leader.
What the boss is really worried about is that some fool copper is going to frag him, if not with a grenade then with some fireworks.

I can't speak as to traffic court, for I was not there. I'm not sure how much of being impartial comes into to play at traffic court anyway. We are talking about the real police world here my friend where you actually lock people up not write them a citation and go on your way because your scared to actually take them out of the vehicle. But anyway.
I know what I observed because I watched the whole trial. I do agree some officers testify poorly and have poor paper work, and then it usually goes in the direction of not beyond a reasonable doubt. However these officers testified very smoothly and from the sound of it there were no flaws in their paper work. For this reason, I don't think that "being impartial" was part of the verdict. I think it had a little more to do with let's not deprive another young youth who is simply misguided and misunderstood let's send him back to the streets where he can offend again.
Is it true that all police officers were forced to unload their weapons before going into these meetings?
