Bad Heroin?
- Three men were found dead in a South Loop apartment Monday morning, and police believe their deaths were drug-related.
Police and ambulances were called around 11:40 a.m. to 633 S. Plymouth Ct., where they found the three men dead in an apartment, said Chicago Police [...].
Drugs and drug paraphernalia were found in the apartment, he said.
Once again, could someone describe "good heroin" to us? This is the second mass overdose in a few days, but the first resulting in deaths - are we seeing a return of the fentanyl mixture that reduced the junkie population by dozens a few years ago?

It's natural selection-thinning the herd. BFD.
"You use, you lose."
They have been dropping like flies in 012 recently as well...
Um, who cares?
yeah, its a bad line coming out of the dearborns
More air for me... yay!
"...are we seeing a return of the fentanyl mixture that reduced the junkie population by dozens a few years ago?"
Oh, life isn't all bad...
"...could someone describe "good heroin" to us?"
It's the stuff you buy from a reputable dealer!
Good

what dearborns? There's nothing left there.
This went down in my building. Aside from some minor inconveniences (media people), I couldn't care less about the fate of a three junkies. Good riddance.
It can happen anywhere. This happened in a rented apartment . . . while most of the units in this building are owner occupied. Thanks to the downturn in the real estate market/general economy, I'm seeing more rental turnarounds and strange faces . . . know your neighbors and stay engaged with daily matters.

A hat-trick!
That's why it's called... DOPE!
Three dead junkies? Best news I've heard today!!!
More air for me... yay!

Good one!
Bad Heroin OH no! must be Obama's fault.
Hooray!
Seriously, who cares. If people engaged in criminal behavior die because of their own stupidity and desire to engage in criminal behavior, good riddance.
Chas. Darwin would be proud.
Good Heroin makes your angel's wings sprout, NOW. Saves us the cost of future services.
I fell sorry for the officer who gets stuck doing the paper but other than than...couldn't care less. Let them drop.
A few weeks back, a POS Latin King was found dead in someone's backyard near Cermak & Trumbull. He was a heroin junkie and supposedly that was the source of his death.
It must of been good." no removals we're made". that's good stuff now where's that standing cat video.
When you use that shit it'll happen sooner or later !
Bad Heroin? LOL! So, how does one order good heroin?
Hello local heroin dealer, may I please have the good heroin apposed to the bad? LMAO
This is what makes news in Chicago, how sad. Keep raising taxes Daley
I hope more of these hypes drop. They are scumbags one an all, and account for a massively disproportionate number of property crimes.

Good heroin gets you high. Bad heroin kills you.
The best was in (I believe) 1993/94 when two white hypes caught a bad dose at Ohio & Central Park. After tooting a few bags they realized something wasn't right, so instead of heading to the closest hospital, they decided to drive to 011 to report the event. They pulled up in front of the station in their van where both morons died. The van with the two dead junkies inside stayed there for about 12 hours before someone decided to see why the van hadn't moved in some time.
Fucking priceless.
I say fentanyl needs to come back in a BIG way. I see absolutely no downside in as many dope fiends as possible dying.
.......was heroin ever good?
Is it bad karma to wish for bad drugs to wipe out the users that don't deserve to breathe?
Or am I jaded after 8 years working for the city?
Given how much progress our Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, and Sailors are making in rural areas of Afghanistan the dealers are probably back to fentanyl to keep their customers supplied. I haven't seen information on how our anti-opium operations over there are going, but if we have more troops over there less raw opium is probably getting out to turn into heroin.
Lets be honest...
The only "Good Drug" is the one you grow or distill yourself.
will we see a noticable drop in crime?
Every now and then the Gov't throws some shit into the game to scare off some of users. The stupid ones get the hot shot. It's all part of the natural selection process.
We're having a problem in my apt building with drugs. Called my apt office today and 008 came out very early Sunday and after what happened yesterday.
I tried finding the 'online-job activity report' via my clearpath and no luck. Contacted the telephone number. What a joke...
Would you believe that the three had just filled out their census forms but had not mailed them!!
Special K was there and messed the scene up. I guess he needed to look out for Daley's downtown area.

Why are soldiers dealing with drugs, whats the mission. FREEDOM???????
Yay, less assholes to steal my $1000 t.v. and sell it for $50

012?? Really?
How about a "Guns for Junk" day? Trade in your unregistered hand guns for a one day all-you-can-shoot heroin session. One less shooter on the street is never a bad thing.

............
NO WAY!!! Not the Messiah. It must be George Bush's fault. When G.W. took Office everything that happened from day one was his fault, Not Clinton's, but now with B. Hussein. O as pres its still G.Ws fault a year and a half after he left Office.
Heroin, Gods Way of ridding the earth of scumbags.
Amen

ObamaCare?
Fuck it. Let 'em all croak. It'll save you the trouble of having to deal with the druggies at another time in your lives.
I hardly think anyone will miss them anyway.
Trust me, it's a good thing.
On a PBS Documentary, Neil Young mentioned that heroin is bad stuff.

Yep, I remember that one also. I also remember the 2 parking tickets on the front of the van they were driving, issued at the behest of Nate the Skate, for parking in front of the station. Good times.
I/F
Originally morphine was a cure for opium addiction. Heroin was made as a cure for morphine addiction. Fentanyl in sufficient quantities cures drug addiction of all kinds.

To the best of my knowledge of those days neil young was not a heroin user. he did see many of his friends die from heroin use including at least two of his own band members.
That led him to write the song "The Needle And The Damage Done" about the perils of drug addiction.
The whole thing actually fits very neatly into today's drug-treatment trend of "harm reduction." You know, youths sniffing glue under supervised conditions so someone'll be there to call for help if their heart stops, special alcoholics-only housing projects in Seattle, etc.
With fentanyl, the motherf___ers just die -- thereby reducing the vast amount of harm they cause to others.
If it saves just one innocent GPS in a parked car...
The official report is still out . . . what if this winds-up being something like carbon monoxide poisoning instead of fatal ODs?
Dear Anonymous 5/05/2010 06:48:00 PM,
Thanks for the Neil Young info. :)
