Buffer Pleads Guilty - Again
- John Harris, former Gov. Rod Blagojevich's chief of staff, pleaded guilty in federal court Friday to charges that he helped Blagojevich attempt to sell Barack Obama's U.S. Senate seat.
It was the second time Harris had entered a guilty plea for the same conduct. Friday's plea was a technicality. Harris was Blagojevich's chief of staff at the time that FBI agents arrested the two in December 2008.
Harris now is working as an apprentice electrician to support his wife and three children, Ekl said.
So does this "feather" in the US Attorneys cap count as a politician feather or a corrupt Chicago Police Exempt feather? We guess it's a politician feather.
And we thought the Electrician's Local had closed their apprentice program seeing as how so many of their members are currently sitting around the union hall playing cards and waiting for a call to come in. Amazing how that works.

Electrician? Must be one heavy mother.I was with a friend who has been an electrician for over 30 years.He has been out for a year and a half and has 1400 to be hired before him.Ain't clout great?
My son-in-law is a journeyman electrician and has been laid off for over a year.Illinois politics at its best,keep voting for these bastards.

Not only is there no work for electricians,they also have an age cutoff,it used to be 25 now I think it's 30.
Apprentices often work before journeymen, especially those almost through with their apprenticeship. They make less..My nephew is in a trade and just tanked his journeyman's test in favor of working as an apprentice. He'll retake the test next year.
But the fix is still in anyway.

have a relative who fell, in one month on hard times and he went to the electrician school on 115 and ridgeland and stated his situation and put in application for training also he is 41, instrutor said their are guys in their 50s going through the programin one month relative was called. so fair play to the union.
