Politics Drives Investigation
- Chicago congressman Bobby Rush calls it a case of political hot potato. First he sent a letter about Kyser to the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. He says that office put it off on police. So he sent a letter to the police, accusing the department of ignoring a homicide. Kyser's ex-wife believes that to be true.
- The police initially said it was accident, but the department late Thursday says it has an "active" investigation open.
- Balboa says things may have turned out differently if her ex-husband had been white.
She's not alone. Rush sent a letter to Superintendent Jody Weis and says his department is ignoring murder.
Rush has a helluva lot of nerve after his history of advocating murder and mayhem. But the only tune Rush knows is "racism."
Ten bucks says J-Fled collapses and Alvarez follows suit.

Rush & Alvarez are politicians who would have sex with furry critters if it'll keep them in the headlines. Chicago/Illinois politicians are simple low lifes who's only goal is to advance their careers & bank accounts.
It's just too bad that Kyser didn't try to swallow the items he was committing retail theft to obtain, then the SOB would have choked !
Did you notice the big $$$$ signs in his ex wifes eyes ? Shes thinking about all she can buy at the all night window at Burger King & Mickey D's from her lucrative settlement.
Everyone will forget that Kyser was just a fuckin low life thief. Line up the buses, many will be thrown under them.
God teased us by making Rush shut the fuck up....but only for a little while...he can still speak, barely but sadly, he can still speak.

He'd probably NOT have walked past the last point of purchase concealing on his person various sundries with the intent to permanently deprive the owner of same. Conversely, he would've PAID for the personal hygiene products he desired, like NORMAL people do everyday, and been on his merry way.
As I type this, it's 12:19 a.m.; had Kyser "been white", he'd probably be squeezing a dollop of that Colgate toothpaste onto his toothbrush right about now, and commencing to brushing his non-stained-and-rotted-from-crack-cocaine teeth.
"White" (and all normal) people have a tendency to do things like this as part of a routine. You know, a small yet integral part of being a conforming member of society? Just one of many character traits NOT harbored by Mr. Kyser at any time during his pathetic existence.
Good riddance, Mr. Kyser!!!!
And a heartfelt "FUCK YOU!!!" to Channel 2 News for being knowing conspirators in the continuing animosity towards the police when they spoon-fed the degenerate ex-wife of the decedent such a fucked-up, loaded, biased question.

Mr. Rush is right. Nobody has a right to protect anything they own. We should let any under-employed, yes, under-employed is the word, person that needs what we have worked for take what they need by force if necessary. We should no longer defend or try to keep what is ours.

i also watched the 10pm channel 2 news lastnight. may i also say for the last time. when the reporter asked the shoplifter's exwife if this would of happened if he was white? i asked myself WTF kind of question is that? maybe ask... would this of happened if the shoplifter paid for the items before running from the store?
Rush failed at the most important job you can have. Raising a child to be a productive human being. Poetic justice. I believe the CVS manager should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If a shoplifter walks or runs out the door, then store employees are told not to chase after the offender. And definitely they are not supposed to fight let alone hold someone in a choke hold. Hell, even we can't do that!

I do hope you are not the police. If you are you must get a clue. What was reported in the media is only the tip of the iceberg, not the whole story. Any copper who has ever been part of an incident then read about it or saw a tv news report about it knows that the media reports what it wants and ignores what it wants or just plainly does a poor job of reporting beyond the five W's

Already posted, but Bobby Rush was the Federal informant that supplied the necessary information, that led to the deaths of Mark Clark and Fred Hampton.

If it is CVS policy that nobody should chase after a shoplifter, then at worst he should be fired. However, it is not against the law to chase after a shoplifter by an employee. The employee has a right to use reasonable force to detain the shoplifter. A fight can be part of that.
The major question here is whether or not in using force the employee became the aggressor in the situation. If so, yes, he should be charged. A chokehold by an employee untrained in such methods is not necessarily such an indicator. The guy could still be struggling to get away, even in a chokehold. A guy might be holding on for dear life around someone's waist or upper torso and the arms slip up around the neck during the struggle. The guy is still fighting, saying he is choking, but in the manager's position, do you believe him?
Quick, split second decision.
The manager is not held to the same standards as the police because he is not the police and has not had the training that we have had. Unless I missed something concerning the facts of the case, which is always possible, the worst he deserves is to be fired. I'm sure a Cook Co jury will give his extended family money from CVS' wallet
The FBI mole was William O'Neal, not Rush.
At great personal peril, a buddy of mine I'll call "Tyrone" infiltrated the Panthers. "Tyrone" (not his actual name), now a happily and successfully retired sergeant, was pulled off Hampton, et al., a day or two before the raid at 2337 W. Monroe St.
The last time I saw Rush was when the BPP "Minister of Defense" and a mob tried to "liberate" my felony prisoner on the streets of 011. Fortunately, the late Rick Miller and Co. saved my white ass in a 10-1 in the nick of time.

William O'Neal was the FBI informant and Hampton's bodyguard. He was later relocated to California under an assumed identity as part of the Witness Protection Program.
O'Neal later returned to Chicago. About 20 years ago, he ran out onto the Eisenhower Expressway in Maywood and committed suicide when he was struck down by a vehicle.
U.S. Congressman Rush is a racist Black Panther to the bone. He will play the race card at every chance.

Yet again
There were two Panther "people's free health clinics" set up in storefronts by Rush in 1970. Both were named after Spurgeon (Jake) Winters who killed the 2 officers. One was at 3850 W. 16th St. and the other was in the 1200 block of Wilson Ave. in Uptown.
I know for a fact that Rush was a paid informant for the G!!!
I'll only say it once. He was committing a BURGLARY. The homeowner was present,ie; HOME INVASION. Have a good week Officers during Law Enforcement Memorial Week. My prayers are with you.
what's to investigate? did not this guy use force against the CVS employee? Maybe the CVS guy used too much force, but he was justified in using SOME force ... that may justify some type of involuntary manslaugher I would guess ...
