This is Leadership?

This person was in charge of a watch?
  • Psychopath Zawis capers

    1. Kid has new baby, wife calls station going to hospital baby sick. No time due.
    2. Guys parents 50th anniversary, no time due.
    3. Guys kid develops diabetes for ten yrs starts at 7 am. Asks for 6 am start. Jerk off orders timekeepers and sgts to make sure that he starts at either 8 am or 10 am.
    4. Girls mother sick with cancer, does she take lunch and personal at hospital, hell yes. The rotten bastard puts her on the desk so she can't visit her sick mother.
5.Guy is supposed to stand up to a wedding, no time due allowed.

Notice how the sick bastard loves to mess with not only you but your family too. Sick son of a bitch.

Zawis sent Wojo down to get his retirement star and he's got an open CR no. Someone of authority please call him on this.
Anyone want to shine some light on these stories? Seeing how he (allegedly) handled the 018 lawsuit, these are all kind of believable.

That's just the short list... a total and complete jagoff... the same guy who as a gang sgt. in 018 would consistently be out of the ditrict for extended periods of time, while on duty and run a plate over the air to let his guys know he was back in the district. same guy who never wrote as much as a honorable mention for his guys because in his words, "you were just doing your job." Could continue all nite long but this douchebag is definitely not worth the energy....GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!!!!!

This also in 017. Its utterly amazing the lengths that bosses will go to totally destroy/fuck with a persons life. Its happened to me numerous times. I just laugh it off to small minds. Cops wives having babies in 017 and were told the doctors will take care of it.
( Captain Joe Mcmahon was the best at it ) What amazes me is that all the bosses have all these big degrees. One even a professor who teaches motivation. And they cant even practice somewhat of a normal leadership.

I will give you a hint. Throw your ego in the garbage.

Catch coppers doing it correct and coach them when they are wrong. Reinforce the good habits.

Make work fun.

Set goals and have everyone pitch in ideas of how to reach them.

Remove alienation tactics totally.

A good boss doesnt have to mess with people to get them to produce.

People will react by wanting to do a good job for you.

But this will never happen because this department thrives on narcissism.

What I am curious to know is what makes a boss want to belittle, humiliate, and totally alienate a copper? What do they get out of it? They must feel like total shit inside to want to do that?

I cant stand most bosses. But I dont go out of my way to cause problems. They engage me and then I come at them with both barrels. And of course they take it personally. Here a hint.
LEAVE US THE FUCK ALONE! LOL

Unfortunately this is the type of jerk-off, (management), leadership we have. This small handful of bosses are all about ego, rather then leadership, pride and leading by example. Check the day LT in 019, same style of sadistic and evil management. It's unfortunate that in today's society we have to not only deal with negative energy from the citizens but our management as well? That's disgusting and a dam shame. What happened to family first? What happened to having pride in your decisions, management style and leadership? I guess maybe some forget where they come from, perhaps they have been where they are too long? A true boss, a respected leader and a man among men does not have to screw people in order to get them to produce. I would think there is never a need to belittle and humiliate a human being, an Officer a co-worker for being there and trying. We became the Police to help people, lend a hand and help us help you. It's easy to sit back and let negativity grow then direct it upon your employees. However, it takes a bigger person to step-up, change their ways and produce not only a positive environment but also a positive work flow.

Called it "retired while under investigation." Looks real good on a resume if you actually want to apply for a real job after retiring. Notice how the FOP and PBPA remain silent on this issue? It happens to many who retire or go on disability and yet nothing is done to change this.

Not talking about retiring while under indictment or anything serious, just an open CR# which is only administrative. Hey SCC how about looking for a good lawyer to file a class action suit about this. How many coppers you think they have done this to and continue to do this to?

That watch was previously commanded by Capt. McCue, an absolute prince of a boss taken much too young by cancer. His officers and Sgt's would crawl over broken glass for him to get to the gates of hell. And Terry would do anything for his troops. Sick family members, no problem, take care of your family. And on and on. In return, he expected that when he asked something of his troops that it would get done, no asking a second time.

An almost extinct bread on the CPD.

Unfortunately there are people in supervisory and command positions on this job who revel in making their subordinates miserable.

There never was any relief to be had going through "the process" because these individuals were/are clouted to the heavens and heavily vested in assuring their litter mates are insulated from any meaningful sanction.

Appalling how people with guns mistreat other people with guns.

Surprising that shenanigans like this haven't ended "badly" for any of the perpetrators.

Their expectation that Policemen are obligated to grin and bear this foolishness is indicative as to how rotten the culture really is.

We deal with enough grief and aggravation on the streets let alone in the station house.

These individuals are basically punks and cowards.

It would be nice if our fraternal organization employed the services of P.I.'s for situations like this.

To get a bullying, cowardly, sub-human asshole's attention with maximum prejudice, his/her life and altered grasp of reality may have to be turned upside down and shaken if not outright destroyed.

Of course they can dish it out but they can't take it.

J-fled should tell them to "knock it off."

*snicker*

We say if you fuck over a Policeman and their wives, kids and family because you think being a miserable rotter is fun, then fully expect that your dirty underwear will be laid out "sunny-side up" for everyone to see.

How many of these assholes have been the cause of Policemen eating their service weapons?

How many of these assholes have driven good men and women to an early grave due to stress?

A damn shame...

We've witnessed some flat out evil shit over the years.

Granted, going where angels and mere mortals fear to tread to deal with devils can scar the very souls of Policemen and cause them to grow some hard, rugged bark.

Most of us try our best not to fall into that pit.

The ones who are the target of this post laugh with glee and dig the pit deeper so they can enjoy inflicting pain on others by virtue of their rank.

These motherless fucks should be dealt with. Harshly.

The department KNOWS THIS SHIT OCCURS with alarming regularity.

Expose these fools and watch their clout run and hide. Especially if Federal remedy is sought. Department, municipal and state level relief is rationed by Daley Inc.

Can't wait until the lid is blown off the "behavioral alert" fuckery.

Hopefully a new day is dawning and this "Hate The Police" era is coming to an end.

Perhaps all the people who actively sought to hurt Policemen from within CPD will eventually be chased down, cornered and made to face justice by the hands of those who were sorely wounded.

Your masters at Daley Inc. won't be able to save you forever.
