Any idea if this is true?
- Is it true that MASTERS (3M) got a female PO dumped from the mailroom at E&RPS, and used his fellow Daley ball-warmer Picardi to do it?
[....] Word is, 3M accused an officer on an E&RPS run of cutting him off in traffic and 'committing a traffic violation.' Picardi called the officer into his office to inquire if they had done such a deed. Copper states that they don't know who the Chief of Staff is, has no idea what Picardi is talking about. Officer is now on transfer order to 007. What is the FOP going to do about this? E&RPS may be a non-bid unit, but for Picardi to just toss this officer out of there because the (in)famous 3M felt slighted over an alleged traffic mishap--what kind of shit is this?

The Officer should have proceeded with a "pat-down" during that traffic incident as guy is armed, and dangerous. Has he gone through the academy? At least for J-Fed and his FBI crew? They've got the Gun Training at the very least.

I once had an off-duty sgt. who was working an inside, clouted, desk job for her boyfriend/deputy, actually call my unit and complain that I ran a stop sign on my way to work in my personal car. (I did, I was late) This goofy bitch had run my plate then checked to see where I worked to make a beef. She then had the balls to leave her name and number and demand that I be called in off the street and call her. I was so pissed off. I said if you're not writing me a ticket I have nothing else to say to you. If you are, I can't speak to you on my attorneys advice. As she screamed and ranted I simply said You make your call and I'll make mine and hung up. I was bluffing but I never heard another word. Another crazy bitch.
The best part of this story is 3M is more than likely looking up these facebook and twitter stories while on city time. But this is chicago and he is connected to shortshanks, so business as usual. It is ok for the connected but not the cloutless peons beneath him. Politics sucks.

In private industry, people have been losing their jobs or promotions over things they have been posting in Facebook or Twitter. It is becoming more common. There are search engines that are available to private investigators that can find your private site and what you have posted, even if you have erased the information. It stays in cyber space for a long time. Be careful of these sites and what you say.

Masters is certified LEO in Illinois. The head of any police academy can sign off on the training required to be certified. Gosh, I wonder who signed off for Masters certification?

ERPS Drivers report to Forensic Services - Cmdr. Joe Murphy and Deputy Chief Dean Andrews not Picardi. So if anyone got dumped it came from BIS thru 3M.
Picardi is not Shortshanks man at CPD. Remember is was Shortshanks who suspended Picardi over the NW Side car repair screwup that was City Hall's doing not Picardi. He once was golden but that's no longer the case. Rumor has it he will depart CPD in the summer once he turns 50.

Lots of people have been moved in and out of E&RPS and Forensics since he's been there, and that's been largely beyond his control. And yes, Picardi IS Shortshanks's 'MAN IN CPD. Shortshanks had him moved there after he got caught fucking up Fleet Services by contracting with a known prior bill-padder for the City. Anyone else would have been fired when that bullshit came to light, except for good 'ol Mikey, who just got moved over to another Dept. 'in concern for his pension.' If you aid an abet a thief, it makes you a THIEF ALSO. The BS with the female PO in E&RPS went down just as it was posted here, and Murphy was none the wiser about it, as he will continue to be until he either retires or is forced out, which seems to have happened a lot in the CPD over the past 3 years.
