Watch-Gator

  • California narcotics investigators raiding a home's $1.5 million marijuana growing operation found an alligator guarding the stash.

A Riverside County drug task force team moved in on the Hemet area house on Monday night and seized 2,285 pot plants. Allied Riverside Cities Narcotics Enforcement Team Cmdr. Brian Link says agents also found Wally, a four-foot alligator described as a "watchgater."

The healthy 55-pound American alligator has been turned over to the Phelan-based Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary. Alligators are illegal in California.

That isn't the only thing illegal in California ::rimshot:: But seriously folks - take my wife, please!

Unless you have a moat and drawbridge, we can't see an alligator being a very effective watch-anything.

For some strange reason this seizure and arrest don't make me feel one bit safer. They wasted many man hours and probably thousands of dollars to seize some plants. Think about it. They broke into this guys house to seize some plants. Give me a break.

White biker gang that had a clubhouse on 5th Ave had a Gator years ago. Nobody in the hood fucked with them.

Highly effective deterrant against less sophisticated potential enemies.....and fun too!

Took my young son to the Chicago Herpetological Society's Reptile Show at UICC Gym several years ago. A Chicago father and son team operate an "alligator rescue shelter" here in Chicago, and were displaying at least a half dozen young alligators that were in 6 LF range. They said most of their alligators were rescued from local drug dealers, and that CPD alerted them to these animals-in-need after raids. Any truth to the story? They said they had more alligators at home, at their undisclosed location within city limits.

A man walked into a Florida bar with his alligator and asked the bartender:

"Do you serve lawyers here?"

"Sure."

"Good. One beer for me and a lawyer for my alligator."

Another :RIMSHOT: here, SCC

Assisted and outside unit with a raid in 015 about a year and half ago. The hit was negative but found a four foot gator alive and tightly stuffed in a large glass fish tank!

In a short sprint a gator can out run a man. There have been several incidents in Florida where a golfer insisted on playing too close to the water and lost the race to Walley Gator.

The joke is on them! See, the plants were actually a diversion from the fact that this guy was raising illegal alligators to use in making purses and shoes for Lindsey Lohan!

That's not all. Didja know that a local Hemet cop was a target of revenge by a scumbag that was arrested for growing pot awhile back? The nutso booby-trapped the local office of the Gang Task Force Office, the door in the gate at the cop's home, place a bomb under the cop unmarked car (it fell off harmlessly), try to use a defunct army bazooka from the roof of a butcher shop across from PD HQS, etc.

That was a small gator, but gators are very fast on land and stealthy 2200 canabis plants acts like camo for a gator.

Hey dipshit with the first comment. That is a large operation worth millions people like that murder and mame(hint a gator as a watch dog) to protect their product cannabis isn't crack or meth but shitheads kill people over it just the same. Get a clue.

"Alligators are illegal in California."

How can this be, when no human being is illegal?

Found one once guarding the back half of a West Side basement apartment. Had a child gate up to keep it in the hallway. Didn't really care enough to try and walk past it to see what was hidden in the back bedroom. True Story.

here's your clue:

because it's illegal, and thus, profitable.

"we can't see an alligator being a very effective watch-anything."

A few years back, a guy was caught breaking into cars in the parking lot of an Indian casino in the Everglades.

He tried to get away through the swamp - on foot... and thus saved Florida taxpayers the cost of prosecution and imprisonment.

Just A Civiian (who thinks gators can be useful in the right situation)
