Ed - rest in peace, you were a great guy
In the immortal words of Ed Farley "Thanks for showing up"
Ed You were a great guy,RIP GODSPEED BROTHER and free COZZI!!
Hopefully the rest of the rank and file follows Ed Farley's lead. When Bill (maliciously prosecuted for political gain) is released from prison, he will need our support. Ed Farley was a true hero in every sense of the word and epitomized what it is to be a leader and show his fellow comrades the true meaning of brotherhood!
RIP Ed....Godspeed
Ed was a good guy, a great copper and investigator and one funny mo-fo. I mean REALLY funny.
RIP old buddy, you will be missed.
May Detective Farley rest in the Lord's arms. Prayers for his family and friends.
Ed and his friend R J Orl.ando took my young sons to a cubs game about 25 years ago. They still talk about it. Ed was a great man and a great officer. God bless him.
A real classy , honest, down to earth guy. If I needed a real cop to come and help me in time of need, Ed Farley was at the top of the list as one of the guys I'd want. Peace to you Ed.

RIP Brother. May St. Michael protect you.
Sleep well our brother.
It seems like I just saw him in the office. He was a really, really, hilarious guy. Sad, he had no kids, no wife. He donated $1000 to Bill Cozzi before he passed, as one of his last wishes.
Rest in Peace Ed, we'll miss you.
i knew him only slightly, but was impressed by his rapier wit. you had to really be on your game to keep up with him. shame that he didn't get to enjoy a long retirement. may he rest in peace, and sincere condolences to his family and friends.
God speed brother and. Thank you sir
Ed was my friend and will be missed. Thanks for all the laughter you provided, your kidness, and helping me through cancer, and always listening, and occaisonally trying to "sneak a peek". RIP Buddy...

Ed was one of my best friends on the Police Department. Hilarious, determined and straightforward. He told people a lot of things they didn't want to hear, but couldn't be ignored. A damn good detective. A fine story teller and an excellent musician. God Bless you Ed Farley.
