Hopefully the rest of the rank and file follows Ed Farley's lead. When Bill (maliciously prosecuted for political gain) is released from prison, he will need our support. Ed Farley was a true hero in every sense of the word and epitomized what it is to be a leader and show his fellow comrades the true meaning of brotherhood!

A real classy , honest, down to earth guy. If I needed a real cop to come and help me in time of need, Ed Farley was at the top of the list as one of the guys I'd want. Peace to you Ed.

It seems like I just saw him in the office. He was a really, really, hilarious guy. Sad, he had no kids, no wife. He donated $1000 to Bill Cozzi before he passed, as one of his last wishes.

Rest in Peace Ed, we'll miss you.

i knew him only slightly, but was impressed by his rapier wit. you had to really be on your game to keep up with him. shame that he didn't get to enjoy a long retirement. may he rest in peace, and sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Ed was one of my best friends on the Police Department. Hilarious, determined and straightforward. He told people a lot of things they didn't want to hear, but couldn't be ignored. A damn good detective. A fine story teller and an excellent musician. God Bless you Ed Farley.
