How long is the media going to ignore this?
- 018 was waaaaaay out of control tonight, flash mobs and wilding all over the gold coast; from rush st to water tower wild packs of 50-60 deep would bum rush stores, steal, and flee. Also a couple strong arms thrown in for good measure, as well as a group of almost 100 on the lake front knocking people off of bikes, and beating people at random.
- I wonder how much longer they will be able to keep the downtown wildings quiet?
- It's zero hour baby -- our tactical heros were out on michigan ave. last night with wagons and plain clothes putting the fear of Phlaeger into the south side yutes -- so the sweet children just moved over to ontario and clark.

I worked special tonight and zone 4 had several robberies and attempt robberies, I think the white liberal is getting just what they asked for. Lol, just do the paper and send a flash.

There was a strong arm outside of my business in streeterville Sat night. 50-60 kids acting like animals. The coffee shop across the street had the good sense to lock their doors (with customers inside) when the mob started down the street. A man was robbed of all his shopping bags, wallet, and phone. Thankfully he landed a few punches square to their faces before they took him down.
These kids won't stop for anything; they're fearless and have nothing to loose. I wish the police could break out the fire extinguisher sized OC and bring the mounted units by to step on some toes and drop some turds on this mess.
It appears that the polices' hands are tied with regards to using force to stop all this. Hopefully citizens will continue to stand up and defend themselves. Maybe, just maybe, we'll be granted our 2nd Amendment rights in Chicago.

It as been going on every weekend now for the past couple of months. They even started hitting the stores during a few week days. 018th District's hands off approach is obviously not working.
This is ridiculous. This is also very true. I take my family to Food Life every Wednesday for dinner as I work long hours and that is the one day the kids don't have activities and we do not have to go to church. My wife and I have been on this department both for over 20 years. Because of working the shifts we worked, we had kids late in life, so our children are small. It is fucking ridiculous that as we walked from 900 N. Michigan with bags galore over to the Water Tower, large numbers of kids from different races mind you, swarmed the area, acting like complete idiots. I did call 911 and cars did show up, but the kids were not afraid and out numbered the older coppers that arrived. As they looked at my family and my daughter started crawling up my leg, I went right for my gun. If anything transpired, the story would be of some high school student with a scholarship to college that an off duty police officer attacked. My wife was completely pissed. They cursed, spit, screamed and acted a complete fool all the way back to the area we parked our car around Northwestern Hospital.
This will be me and my family's last trip down there. Right to the suburbs we will go, where no public transportation from Chicago makes it easy for these thugs to get to! Rahm, watch your city's money go right out of the door. Fall right in line with assigning someone that has to learn our city and department to even begin to be effective. We need assistance now. Shootings are up and you look to someone whose first focus is on wearing our fucking uniform! Jodi Weis all over again! Appoint a First Deputy who is ball less and has not clue, but can talk a good game! Watch all the old time bosses, the 4 we have left, walk away and watch this department deteriorate even more.
I don't care how nice of a guy he is, or how fair he is. We need someone that can deal with our issues now and make a difference inside and out of this department! Someone who will hold the politicians accountable to compliment our efforts and hire more police. We don't need any more cripple, crazy desk junkies on the street. That does us more of a dis service! We have to protect them!

Tell them to call 911 and we'll come on over and take a case report. If they have clear high rez video evidence and two or three unimpeachable witnesses and offenders in custody and signed complaints we will gladly make an arrest, if only the little darlings do not resist.
