Someone clued us into this BIS/DOC Bulletin circulating on the Department intranet. For those interested in looking it up, it's Bulletin #2011-OSA-069. We won't reproduce it here as it's labeled Law Enforcement Sensitive.
The background - The four corner hustlers are having some internal problems after two "street tax" collectors were gunned down in 011. The "BFM" faction is looking for revenge.

The BFM's are reportedly young black males, 15-16 years of age, who are extremely aggressive and blindly follow the orders of [faction leader]. If these offenders flee the police, they will most likely flee back to the home of [faction leader] at XXXX N. Harding."
Sound familiar? Sound like any place you'd want to live? Concealed Carry is banned and the hoops to jump through for a home weapon border on onerous. Wildings and flash mobs are the order of the day in the formerly "nice" parts of town. Almost the entire Department is held down at school dismissal times across the city. And the politicos are abetting a war against a shrinking and increasingly frustrated middle class.
Detroit would actually be a step up from what Chicago is devolving into.

Since Camera House went public, just before Puerto Rican festival, the little gang bangers have moved a block north from Homan/Beach to Homan/LeMoyne and now hand outside the store where they can get their link cards turned into cash. Same owner also owns another store 4 blocks south on Kimball.
Its absolutely amazing how these low lifes sell drugs, have huge non-traceable incomes, and also bilk taxpayers out of millions of dollars on the food stamp program.
Since the residents of the 26th voted the area from Kedzie to Central park, along Division, dry in the February election [much to worthless Aldercreatur Maldonado's consternation - he was concerned that the owners would loose their livelihood].
The new dry area in the ward has helped to cut down the underage drinking A TAD. Many just moved to North and Spalding and now hang outside of the Foremost Liquors store, begging adults to purchase liquor for them.
The owners periodically chase them away, and they do lock down the parking lot after they close at 22.00, but there are always low-lifes hanging there and asking for money.
Lots of new gang member faces on the streets. Lots of new recruits since the beginning of the summer.
If the hot weather keeps up we may have record gang-related kill numbers on our hands!

mogadishu would be a more appropriate comparison---- brave men and women stalk off into the night to fight the warlords and their minions--- risking life and limb for what, because you signed up for it and took an oath--- remember next year when we get no raises and the city wants you to concede more---- remember when the pension fund becomes insolvent in about 15 years if something isn't done right now to save it--- we will always stalk off into the night but at the back of your mind you can't help but feel like a sucker.....

Here's the question I want to ask Rahm or Quinn or any of the other Democraptic Party leaders that have participated in the destruction of this state/city/county. I'm about to retire. I'm obviously a tax paying,middle class guy who has contributed to society. I will continue to be that kind of guy no matter what. But what are you guys going to do to keep me living here and paying taxes rather than moving away and paying those taxes and contributing elsewhere? What is your plan to make it attractive to people like me to stay here rather than moveing elsewhere? I'm tired of paying high taxes only to see them used to support people who have NOT paid taxes for fifty seven years, who have NOT contributed to society but instead have been nothing but a drain on it. I'm tired of seeing all of these mobs pillaging and plundering only to see the Mayor and Superintendent of Police lie about it. I'm tired of seeing politicians like Dick the Turban Durban, Rahm and Quinn try to pass the Dream act. Where was the Dream Act when my kids (who BTW were born here and are American citizens) where going to school? I'm tired of the Democraps trying to get convicted felons the right to vote. What are you doing to keep me and thousands of other people like me here Mr. Emmanuel,Quinn,Madigan,Durban and a host of others? Anything?

On 04 JUL 11, the wonderful residents of the 011th District had several illegal parties in vacant lots along the 2900 block of West Roosevelt Road. After the parties, none of the residents cleaned up their mess (Go figure!). It looked like a garbage truck exploded.
On 11 JUL 11, the PRIVATELY OWNED lots were cleaned by convicted offenders in the Cook County Sheriff's Work Alternative Program (SWAP). This program is punishment in the form of labor in exchange of jail time in Cook County Jail. Usually, SWAP cleans dirty highways, city streets, etc...
Just wondering how Cook County resources can be used to clean PRIVATELY OWNED land? Hmmmmmmmm???

I am not a police officer but I do carry a handgun. Both to and from work while I ride the blue line. When I go to dinner or to Starbucks. Let one of these animals try to rob me and I will kill them. I am not alone. There are a lot of people doing what I'm doing and we don't have a problem with it. I am a black man but refuse to end up on a stat sheet. I am also a business man who has done well. I know what the black youth of today is doing and its ashamed the media refuses to report the truth. In case you were confused the black kids ride the red and blue line daily to the downtown area with the intention to rob people along Michigan ave .....shame on you boys and shame on your families for allowing it. It makes me sick to see this happening and I feel sorry for the next person who wants my ipod,iPhone, or iPad. I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6. It's no worse than any flyer the dicks put out for community alerts. SCC did well to take out the name of the shithead and the IR#'s. Other than that, it's better to have the info out there for everyone, including helpful citizens who might tip us off.

I've seen places like this shut down, never to reopen. They were on a shoestring anyway, owners skimming like crazy, place selling milk that expired two weeks ago, and when the LINK inspectors and the health inspectors and the building inspectors got done with them, it was like a bomb hit.

I used to carry concealed 30 yrs. ago when it was a misdemeanor. Now, it's a felony and I have too much to lose if that were to happen. I'm in a career where a felony conviction would mean automatic denial of my ability to continue in my work. We must get CCW passed in Illinois. I know the old saying judged by 12 than carried by 6, but being without a job and on the street is equally frightening.

Same here. Can't tell you how may folks I've given a break for having a firearm in their home.
But sadly, we're a dying breed. These days, tact guys and other special unit guys are so desperate for the almighty gun pinch, they don't give anyone a break. I've seen coppers lock up old, 70 sumthin and 80 sumthin years old men for having an old .22 or .32. Seen hunting rifles taken from law abiding senior citizens. Watched an old man beg officers to let him keep the gun that had been in his family 3 generations. Nope! The copper just had to have that gun pinch. These days, nobody gets cut a break. Gee! Wonder why dam near everybody hates us?

Look on the bright side though. As much abuse as there is going on with the Link card program at least the community eventual gains from the trickle down economics.
Unlike when the governor bails out a corporation with millions of dollars and those corporate profits are then held off shore away from USA taxes and used again as leverage for more tax breaks via repatriation deals.

Well, spill it if you know the landowner to be clouted.
Generally, when the City (don't know how the County does it) clears a 'vacant' lot, they bill the owner and issue an additional citation to the owner.
I'm getting thirsty. Maybe I should go to Nickel Liquors for a nice "SIPP...."

There are other towns and states that are better than this shithole city and state. I just came back from a very pleasant town where many people still do not lock their doors.
I won't mention where to save it from the scourge of Chicago thugs invading but look around, good places are around, just not here.
