$3 Million Bail?

- Bail was set at $3 million today for a man accused of stabbing three people, including a customer who was critically injured, inside a Gage Park Walgreens store.
Daniel Lopez, 21 of the 5100 block of South Spaulding Avenue, was charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery. He remained hospitalized in a psychiatric ward and did not appear for his bond hearing before Judge Ramon Ocasio III.
So who found the judiciary a set of nuts?

Now if we just back off on the pot smokers, maybe everyone in the hood will be nice and mellow during the festivities....or at least they won't be able to shoot straight.
I think this judge was stabbed during a robbery in Humbolt Park several years ago........

Ya know, Walgreens fired a legally armed pharmacist is Michigan recently for disrupting an armed robbery in his store. The perps were herding the people in the store into the back room.
They response was that they were installing high res video systems in the stores to enhanced the security, so I be they have some nice pictures of the carnage.
His real crime was not following the liberal script. Had he used a gun they could have used him as an excuse for gun control. But since he was insensitive to their agenda he has to pay the price.
Let that be a lesson to all you murders out there, do it in a way the liberals can exploit or don’t do it at all.

If the assailant was in a psychiatric facility during his bond hearing, there is a good chance he will be found mentally unstable. In doing so, he will not be charged with these terrible crimes. Therefore, it will not matter if bond is set at $10 million or $10.00. It is an empty gesture. I would prefer to have seen a bond like that attached to some of the assailants who repeatedly attack the police.

Ocasio an ex public defender at Juvenile court , always been a good guy, smart, fair , knew he'd be a good judge.

He is a terrible judge talk to anyone who works in 26th/Cal bond court. Yes he got this one right but the other half of the felony call probably got off with 2K and 1K D bonds. He gots lots o clout but no idea what he is doing up there.
I love hearing this BS praise for one bond that Ocasio gave. He consistently reduces defendants bonds and is an idiot to boot. Chiajpas is the real deal, not the PD loving Ocasio

Just let the marijuana users alone. They don't bother many people. They are easy to catch, but take WAY too much resource to prosecute and detain.
