Guess What Time It Is?

Turf problems, personnel questions, and a late start for the camps throw quite a few questions our there, not only for the teams, but for our fantasy leagues as well.

If the park district hasn't figuered out how to take care of Soldier Field by now, it may be time for the Bears to move on and find another venue?

The Bears seem to be the ONLY team with Turf Issues!

Looks like Bears picked up right where they left off with their offensive line woes. 3 sacks in first period.
Way to go letting Kreutz go and not picking up any established veterans.

its time for the parents of abandoned children,to pick them up. the parade is over and so is the party. or do you really care what happens to them. makes one wonder why this happens every year after the parade.

With the dismal baseball season both the Cubs and Sox are having it's good to have football back.

OFF TOPIC...

ENOUGH ALREADY with all the crying about the TRU and MSF-ers "getting fucked" by the department.

Again...these people KNOWINGLY WAIVED THEIR CONTRACTUAL RIGHTS for the greener grass on the other side. If they thought it would never end, shame on them for being so Goddamned stupid.

They had a great run. They weren't always tied to a radio... for years in some instances. They milked the system dry in regards to long lunches, early "ducks" and lots of overtime opportunities. They didn't have to handle the monotonous bullshit that a beat car does day in and day out (consistent one-bag dope pinches the exception!).

You'll find no sympathy here or from the majority of guys who've both been around the block more than a few times and offered their sincere opinions against such an endeavor. "Never volunteer for anything" is a phrase I learned early on. Try it on for size, people.

Consider this a life lesson learned, ladies and gentlemen. What you folks should've gleaned from this whole ordeal is that the department and it's agents (read: bosses with aspirations who'd sell their soul and barter their children to advance in the CPD cesspool) are snake oil salesmen extraordinaire; they possess the best pitch ever absorbed by young, impressionable coppers who actually think they can "make a difference" on this job.

So suck it up, man that beat car, and think twice before you go giving up what generations before you have fought for in exchange for some faux "elite" descriptor etched in your name tag.

Yeah, that would have been a typical bears move. Keeping a 32 year old revolving door. He was a mental who couldn't block anyone. Team leader my ass. Take a hard look at last years video. Literally a pushover. The O line sucks but don't look for meaningful improvements. Look for 60 sacks and Cutler out before the 6th game..

It seems you are the only one that seems perturbed about this whole situation. Why don't you just get fucked. You make it sound like the beat car is the hardest job. What milk a disturbance for 40 mins and drive in circles. Sure I'll be a bt car. Let me know which bt car you working. And don't give me that bullshit I paid my dues and now work inside.

O-Line still sucks thank God for Barber, decent runs and more importantly blocking protecting his QB

Defense will be fine; offense will blow chunks. Doesn't matter... Packers will OWN the division. I wish there was an open competition at QB; Caleb Hanie can actually play.

Interesting finish last night.
Rookie Q.B. gets sacked on 3rd and
goal due to a blown assignment with
little over a minute left in the
game and Robbie Gould shanks a 44-
yard F.G. attempt.
This game was uninspiring and
hopefully not an indication of the
season to follow.

The department took my contractual rights. I volunteered to work @ MSF, however I never asked to be assigned there. I was never consulted about being assigned...they just did it without my permission

Kreutz was not much help. Who cares if he knew al the line assignments if he could not make tbe blocks anymore. O-line got better and at least looked like they coul dblock for Barber.

Bears got cheaper and better by letting Kreutz go and picking up spencer.
