Ex-CPD in Trouble
The media just can't wait to toss in that Chicago Police Department connection. But seeing as this is a suburban police chief, we suppose it's actually news:
- The attorney general is suing a nonprofit group run by the police chief of Country Club Hills for nearly $1 million in job training grants — some of which the state says went to rent space at the officer's theater for $12,000 a month.
A nonprofit group run by a south suburban police chief agreed to use a $1.25 million state grant to help minorities learn the building trades while working at the officer's historic Chicago theater.
But now the Illinois attorney general is suing We Are Our Brothers Keeper, saying the charity run by Country Club Hills police Chief Regina Evans used the grant to rent space from her theater for $12,000 a month — violating a conflict-of-interest rule.
Conflict of interest? Aren't there more than a few aldrecreatures who rent office space in investment properties they already own? Don't they hire relatives with astonishing regularity?
Come to think of it, this scam sounds so familiar, it might be interesting to see if the former Lieutenant Evans actually passed any sort of promotional exam and if not, who recommended her for promotion, and whether or not that person is still employed by the CPD? It sure seems the lousy way of doing business in Chicago is spreading to the suburbs.

Mayor AND liquor commissioner, and until recently,
had a city credit card with a no-holds-barred credit
limit, running up over $70,000 in charges for personal items like show tickets, plane tickets, etc., and he's had his hand steady at the CCH till for years.

Her political clout was then Aldrman Bill Beavers and the wife of State Senator Donnie Trotter.
Phat Phil knew her from his days at DEA and was responsible for her promotions.
Knowing Regina I am willing to bet that she still has her full length mink coat, all her jewelry and a whole lot more than $400.
It is time for the FEDS to examine what happened to all of her money!

She was married and divorced from a retired cpd friend of fat fill. Thats when the promotions happened.
Remember the story of her busting in to area 2 demanding the release of her nephew being held for murder? Nothing happened to her then either.

When DTEB was the Commander of Housing, he and a certain female Sgt at the time were caught in his office at night, candles burning, in their undies.
Several months later when he got tired of her, she got dumped out of her admin spot and filed one of the many EEOC's against The Teflon Sex Offender, DTEB.
I wonder if her husband knows this story?
Ronald Evans was promoted to lieutenant after being ranked #29 on the EXAMSCAM list. Ask him the time of day and his response would be: "notify the watch commander".
I love reading about people that think they are slick, aren't, and then get strung up.
She is the daughter-in-law of former district commander Ron Evans. Ron was a clout heavy boss who for years was a part time " investigator" for Park District security.he and Ron's son, retited sergeant, both are complete merit picks. Left overs from the joke that the Daley Admistration made of the police department.
What about the murder investigation that Regina Evans screwed up because her family was involved.

Neither Regina or Ron could pass a test legitimately. Just goes to show, you can be a screw up and still get promoted if you know the right people in this town.
@ 0316am It's normal for suburban mayors to be both the mayor and liquor commissioner. In fact, I think some municipal codes only allow the mayor to be liquor commissioner.
Funny thing. I was watching a show on cable the other day (cop show not sure which one though) and I saw this lady who was chief of police of Country Club Hills out of all places. You should have heard her talk on t.v. I thought to myself how in the world did this lady become chief of police?! Now it all makes sense.
Saw her prominently featured in a cable special recently about Cocaine trafficking in Chicago. The camera followed her, and they interviewed her, and showed CCH cars and Officers, yet, whenever they referred to the cocaine problem, they referred to it as a Chicago Police problem. Apparently the producers wanted it to be a feature about Chicago, but CPD wouldn't get involved in the show.

"arson for profit" on their other club in the burbs. they collected the insurance money on a venue that was not making any money and all of a sudden it burned. No investigation!

Oh Im sorry. No doubt she just studied the general orders for months at home when off duty. I'm sure she didn't get the test questions and answers before hand.
I know she never paid the po in 004 for the heating and ac work on that very building thousands of dollars of work..He was. going after her in the civil courts. He passed away before he could get his rightful money. Hope she gets time she was an horrible boss. She also harbored her family member after he was sought for a homicide. she cut his hair and shaved his beard to change his appearance..

Don't get me started with your clout bullshit.
Out of humility and a desire for personal privacy, I will NOT give my name. I retired as a sergeant despite the fact that...
• I always shared a mutual admiration and respect for my peers. Not so much with a couple of bosses who I believe to be psychopathic political hacks who couldn't catch a cold, let alone an "on view" felon.
• I test very, very well on legit exams, be it SAT, ACT, IQ, CPD hiring or the legit Scantron graded CPD detectives' exam. Top score or at least at or above the ninety-ninth percentile. I never wanted to join a CPD "study group".
• I may well have more career Part I felony arrests than all of the current exempts combined.
• Catching bad guys was the most fun I could have with my clothes on. I was passionate and highly motivated even if I was working under the command of a complete asshole.
• Police work is much more than a "job" to me. I was born to be a cop, regardless of more lucrative career opportunities that would only bore me stiff. I took great pride in my abilities and successes without any display of arrogance. I kept my "swag" to myself but I'm damn proud of being "Chicago's Finest".
It's people like you who bring discredit, lack of professionalism and even corruption to what I believe to be the most noble of callings. I suspect you lack confidence and self-esteem, certainly as a street cop.
Actually, if I had to do it again in this politically corrupt CPD, I wouldn't have even taken the sergeants' exam in which I was ultimately promoted "through the cracks". I loved working "the D". After my promotion to sergeant in district patrol, I realized that I would never be able to return to the Detective Division as a supervisor and certainly not as chief of detectives. Homey don't play the suckass game.
Add to that the fact that when I was appointed to the CPD, I coincidentally had a relative that had clout. He did not want me to become CPD. He was furious. I was assigned to the bloodiest, most tumultuous district in the city. I thrived. Constant felony arrests. A year later, "Mr. Clout" asked me if I wanted to be transferred to what many, perhaps most, regard as a more desirable unit. No way. I loved the action and the camaraderie of my fellow officers. Laugh if you choose but we were indeed "da REAL mutherfuckin' PO-leese" and damn proud of it. Guys who served in combat in Delta Force, SEALs, USMC, 82nd or 101st Airborne, etc. would understand the unspoken pride that burns in your soul. Aside from taking a sergeants' exam, I have no regrets.
Take your "juice" and choke on it, "clout baby".

Just as a point of clarification, the Ron Evans referred to above is the father-in-law of Regina, not her husband. Ron, the husband, did not make Sergeant until the late 90's.
Can't say anything bad work related about her or her husband! Worked for him when he made Sgt. He was fair and treated workers well! Im sure they both were merit picks, but so are plenty of other bosses. Lets talk about the "ghetto" commanders of 23, 16 and 20 oh Im sorry those are white people so its ok for them to get back door promotions
