Save Ferris!

We mean, "Save 013!"

Of course, if rumors are to be believed, this is going to be too little, too late. At last report, almost 100 people showed up to protest though, with flyers and petitions and an aldercreature.

Speaking of aldercreatures when are they going to start the cuts?

Chicago's population is in decline and if we can get by with less coppers we surely should be able to get by with less aldercreatures and their clouted employees that are draining our tax dollars.

SCC, watch the projected budget for next year to see how many district listed. I think thats this wed being served to aldercreatures. If less than 25, start packing people, time to find new mold infested locker in some other dungeon.

Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you got 'till it's gone. They've paved paradise and put up a parking lot...

Chicago, The Sanctuary City soon to be The Foreclosure and Abandoned City.

Will we have to hire security guards using a no-bid contract to prevent the homeless squatters from moving in until it's razed to the ground?

Don't let a crisis go to waste when you can monitize it for your friends and family -- that's all.

If they are so set in closing districts let them close 7 or 11 and let the nuts kill each other. They hate the polices anyways!

Puh-leez!

You just KNOW the deal has already been cut to 'sell' that station for a dollar to some organization like "Save the Salamanders' or 'Train the Moths' or 'Tree Huggers and Weed Collectors Anonymous'.

Never mind that selling it on the open market would get the city a million dollars or more. We can afford to toss away another million, because we're stealing it from policemen's pensions.

This is a case where the Alderfxxk is just that: useless and self-serving. He cares only for the 1st Ward bars and clubs since they generate all of the extra"support."
Assuming he was there, it was only to garner votes for committeeman.

So close these stations already. Go back 30 years or so, there was no 025 or 024. Population shifts can change the layout of police districts from time to time.

Close 13 and 21 already . Each district has 9 beat cars . On days there are more than 9 police officers assigned to office duties.
Time to tighten belt of CPD.

They're going to turn it into a "homeless center" for bums to take baths, shit, and get free food. City also wants to use it as a needle exchange and condom dispensary.

They want the bums and hypes out of Eckhart Park.

No lock ups , 20 police officers working inside , cpd needs those 40officers in a beat car ,now .

Are they getting ready to tear down all the foreclosed buildings (and maybe some police stations) in those neighborhoods that are "park deserts"? Banks would get to write off as charitable donations, no more expense for board ups and security for the city, no back log of unsold homes, no havens for criminals.....hmmmm!

As stupid as closing 4 north side lock-ups. Do the math, 4 lock-ups, 3 sworn members, each station, is only 12 officers. How much longer will cars be down waiting on transports, or officers waiting at other lock-ups for intake??? Stupid idea. Just give the present lock-ups the detention aides they should have, and leave the lock-ups open!!!!!
