What's Down Now?

Is crime down? Or is it "crime scenes" down? Because it seems like multiple people shot was the norm this holiday weekend. Here's two more incidents resulting in seven more wounded:
  • Three woman were injured after being shot by a man wielding a shotgun in the South Chicago neighborhood, police said.

The shooting happened at about 6 p.m. on the 9300 block of South Jeffrey Boulevard, police said.

The victims included a 66-year-old woman, a 63-year-old woman and a 49-year-old woman, police said.

  • Four teenage boys were shot and wounded as they sat on a porch in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side, officials said.

A gunman walked up to the teens in the 7200 block of South Evans Avenue shortly before 3 p.m. and opened fire, according to a Fire Department spokesman. The teens range from 14 to 16, he said.
And that lovely Hyde Park neighborhood, you know, where President Sparklefarts matriculated from? They're seeing a sudden upsurge in "crime reduction" lately:
  • The University of Chicago is warning students about two robberies Sunday night near the campus where students were robbed at gunpoint of their cell phones and a laptop computer.

The first robbery occurred as two students walked along 57th Street near Dorchester Avenue at about 11:35 p.m., the school

They were approached from behind by a man holding a revolver, campus police said. The robber took the students' cell phones and fled north on Dorchester Avenue.

About 30 minutes later, another student was approached from behind by a group of three males while sitting in the main quadrangle near 57th Street and Ellis Avenue, police said. One of the males pulled out a gun and the group took the students' cell phone, a laptop computer and book bag, police said.
Mysteriously absent is a description of any of the offenders that might alert students to be aware of suspicious characters when traversing the neighborhood at night. And thank goodness the U of C Police Department is being run by a former CPD exempt who has his hands on the pulse of the neighborhood and swears the culprits will be caught and thrashed in short order.

And speaking of former CPD people:
  • The embattled police chief of Country Club Hills is resigning after a series of controversies, including an attorney general suit to recover nearly $1 million in job-training grants.

Country Club Hills Mayor Dwight Welch said the south suburb's lawyers are working on paperwork to make the resignation of Chief Regina Evans official this week. The former Chicago police lieutenant was hired in 2009 and has been on disability leave since August

The Tribune reported last month that the Illinois attorney general is suing a nonprofit run by Evans that secured a $1.25 million job-training grant to help restore a historic theater on Chicago's South Side.

The lawsuit accuses We Are Our Brothers Keeper of using the grant money to rent space from the theater — which Evans also owned — for $12,000 a month, violating a conflict-of-interest rule.
Is it just us or is the entire northeastern sector of Illinois imploding?

3 women shot = 1 RD number

1 RD number = one crime.

See, I just made crime go down with the "new math" of the CPD.

Gee, I guess I can be an exempt now...

One huge ball of political corruption. Feels like we're in a pressure cooker doesn't it?

Man, some things never change; when in doubt, go on disability. Wonder where she learned that trick.

Regina Evans and her man Ron are both thieves and they deserve to go to JAIL for a very long time...Any other copper who stole millions of dollars from the state and federal government would be in the can...That was our tax dollars they spent on fancy cars and trucks, jewerly, clothes, and their Beverly crib...Hopefully the state takes every penny back!!!

I'd say any thought of closing 021 just died on the vine; the University of Chicago and Hyde Park's permanent local residents will not accept that when 'the children' are being robbed on their streets.

Betcha McTootMyOwnHorn goes ballistic at CompWhatever this week! This sudden non-decrease in crime is embarrassing to his publicity-loving ego.

You useless district commanders are not controlling those murderers! Start learning to read those robbers' minds and stop the crime before they commit it! Lazy, useless, non-psychic commanders!

Should be lots of fun.

If the FEDS to their job correctly then Regina and Ron Jr. will be headed to the pen for bankruptcy fraud.

If a robbery of students occurred in the U of C Quad,
then no one in the UCPD will be safe from the wrath
of Doty. Look for people to be fired or forced to resign
if reports of a robbery there are correct. Wouldn't be
surprised if Doty winds up in a mental ward over this.

Most victims do NOT wait for Police to show up for the stupid reports anymore!

No victims = No Crimes to report!

Thus, Crime is down!

Hey it really doesn't matter where the police station is, what matters is the number of police in the area. Also if the closed 21, that area would then be covered by units from 2 or 3. Both of whos station is closer to the crime scene then 21 is now. And knowing the mouthpieces for the city, they would tell the people in Hyde Park that if they were to complain that the new station is even closer now.

Just to let you know, Doty a rejected Commander from the CPD who knows nothing about real Police work and who is left running things at the University of Chicago Police fired a Sergeant for driving into the Quadrangle to check activity, the same area where a student was recently robbed at gunpoint.

The following is a recent excerpt from The Chicago Suntimes:

The second robbery happened about 12:05 a.m. as a student sat in the Main Quadrangle, a portion of the campus bounded to the north by 57th Street, to the west by Ellis Avenue, to the south by 59th Street, and to the east by University Avenue.

Doty also fired a Lieutenant without due process who was adept at catching burglars and robbers and who knew the area.

The only true competent police executive at the University has left after approximately two years there and gone to lead elsewhere. R. Chiczewski also had 35 years on CPD.

When is the University waking up and smelling the coffee. They may turn out Rhode Scholars in education, but they sure don't know anything about picking Police Administrators or Leaders.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++

They shoud go to the pen, but they won't because the loan givers (the G) would have to admit that they made some shit loans and take some of the heat.

Sort of like the economic collapse of 2008/2009 which still hovers. See if you can find anyone who went to jail or paid ANY price for all the bad home loans and swaps and derivatives and all that other shit which caused the whole foreclosure/economic/job loss crisis. Not only did they not pay a price, we bailed out the surviving companies. And lets not forget the guy who went to the Federal Reserve in 2006/07 and tried to tell them that the financial tsunami was coming. They told him to go away. And our grandchildren will still be paying for this shit long after we are gone.

So if you think they will go after the Evans idiots, you can forget that shit.

Might as well date this "October 12, 1969..."

By God, you wanted "civil rights," you got 'em -- and no more "police brutality," either.

All of a sudden you couldn't even walk to the store or go to the beach anymore.

Progress!

Wouldn't "We Are Lookin' Out For Number One" be a better name?

Grabbin' with both hands...
