God I hate Illinois. its all run by one area north of I80 to wisconsin border then from the lake west to I 39. The rest of the state is out of luck with what they vote because all of the chicago, cook county and surrounding counties are liberal idiots.. Something needs to be done about how the cook county area rules the entire state.
How bad does Illinois have to get before most people see red. The Democrats have been running us into the ground. I hope everyone keeps an open mind and listens to the issues.

Don't get too excited. Obama is going to win in November. While Repugs are beating each other up Obama is singing and dancing across America raising more and more campaign cash. America is in a financial crisis and everyone is trying to keep their heads above water. Folks are much more worried about keeping their jobs or finding one. Putting food on the table and keeping the heat on. Barry gets 4 more years and we get fucked.
It should be now painfully obvious to any democratic strategist that the obama rahm daley backlash has arrived like a large red sunammi.
Obama was inneffective. But even more repulsive to the voters is his ties to the daley crime family that spawned our very own revolting little fowl mouthed raccoon. Nothing can save obama and everything daley touches turns to shit. Cant wait for the g8.

Whose map is this? I went to the web site, but there's no projection from the site's prognosticators. Essentially, you can make the map yourself, based on predictions. So: whose map is this?
I donno, the Republicans seem the same as the Demorats. So why bother voting anymore? They all do the same nonsense once in office.

Map is based on approval numbers for Obama only. What's the same map look like for any of the 'publican candidates?

I read that Trump is coming out to support Gingrich. That is the kiss of death, no way for Gingrich to win anything now, Trump is a loser.
Yes, a lot of red states. But, the votes are in the cities of NY, California and Illinois. It could be a very close race.
Obama would easily overcome Romney in a debate, however, Obama debating Newt would be a disaster for Obama.
Newt would so handily dispatch Obama that he would have to take it easy on Obama so as to not stir up a sympathy vote.
The White House is hoping for Romney to be the candidate. Give them Newt and they will be soiling themselves.

In Wisconsin they are recalling the governor for messing with the state workers collective bargaining. Lets say that Wisconsinites didn't waste a second to come up with over a million signatures to start the recall. Wisconsin a so called red state that is quite frankly guilty of union busting. Wisconsin is on that red map, go and move over there.

Wow. You talk about who people vote for. How about this one college boy? Just maybe the poster was saying that Newt Gingrich will not win those states thus Mitt Romney will be the nominee and he doesn't see Mitt as a good thing... and 0825 is spot on, they're all the same. The dems and repubs got more in common with each other than any of us and if you think they're more likely to have a beer with you than someone of the other party that is closer to them in income, influence, political connections etc...jokes on you Joe 6.
Hate to tell you, but Obama is going to win again. No doubt about it. Why? Because all these politicians are in on it together. They threw the race in 2008 with the Sarah Palin fiasco and they're throwing it this year with the ridiculous candidates that they've offered. The State is fine--the Government-- City, 2 or 3 Counties, and State, (read Democrat) is Screwed up.
Once and for all, I want to see which agency and program(s) you so-called conservatives want abolished. Don't just say the president is a socialist,Marxist,communist,liberal...etc. It's time to put up!! Start naming agencies and programs.

Newt hasn't said how he would turn the country around. He only says two things:food stamps and Saul Alinsky.

Good news maybe from the perspective as to how disappointed people are with the broken promises of Washington.
However if anyone thinks that things are going to change other than who is getting the most kick backs with the other party in charge I think they're sadly mistaken.
Corporate money has to be barred from politics. Until then, all this is just a game..a puppet show with puppet leaders that do not represent the people.

1) the CPD will continue to shrink without a corresponding reduction in the exempt ranks.
2) The FOP is going to be impotent against the City come next contract negotiations as Rahmbo will rally the court of public opinion against the Blue shirts.
3) Obama will more than likely be re-elected.
4) The Financial collapse, and possibly society as we know it may no longer be a story-line in fictional novels, or the nut job doom & gloom guy.
5) Illinios will become a republican held business utopia shortly after hell freezes over, and the city council is reduced to 15 alderman.
Will the last person out of Chicago turn off the lights.
