God I hate Illinois. its all run by one area north of I80 to wisconsin border then from the lake west to I 39. The rest of the state is out of luck with what they vote because all of the chicago, cook county and surrounding counties are liberal idiots.. Something needs to be done about how the cook county area rules the entire state.

How bad does Illinois have to get before most people see red. The Democrats have been running us into the ground. I hope everyone keeps an open mind and listens to the issues.

Democrats service them selves not the people.

Don't get too excited. Obama is going to win in November. While Repugs are beating each other up Obama is singing and dancing across America raising more and more campaign cash. America is in a financial crisis and everyone is trying to keep their heads above water. Folks are much more worried about keeping their jobs or finding one. Putting food on the table and keeping the heat on. Barry gets 4 more years and we get fucked.

It should be now painfully obvious to any democratic strategist that the obama rahm daley backlash has arrived like a large red sunammi.
Obama was inneffective. But even more repulsive to the voters is his ties to the daley crime family that spawned our very own revolting little fowl mouthed raccoon. Nothing can save obama and everything daley touches turns to shit. Cant wait for the g8.

Whose map is this? I went to the web site, but there's no projection from the site's prognosticators. Essentially, you can make the map yourself, based on predictions. So: whose map is this?

Obama would easily overcome Romney in a debate, however, Obama debating Newt would be a disaster for Obama.

Newt would so handily dispatch Obama that he would have to take it easy on Obama so as to not stir up a sympathy vote.

The White House is hoping for Romney to be the candidate. Give them Newt and they will be soiling themselves.

Un huh riiiiiiight, keep dreaming. The southern "Born again Evangelicals" wont vote for Romney the mormon and as soon as he gets the nomination in spite of King Trumps endorsement of that new fat hustler (ala minnesota fats)Gingrich Romney must move towards the center to even flirt with capturing the independent votes to which he will then piss off even more conservatives who in turn wont vote.

Just think of Dubya and kerry. Everybody on the left hated idiot George but he won. Same thing this time, Obama will win and we get to see Jeb Bush and probably Hilary Clinton battle it out for the 2016 race.

You freakin idiots should have voted the whole city council out for raising taxes on fast food, the parking meter fiasco and red light cameras. But the Chicago way is to do nothing but talk and blame INDUVIDUALS for the mass population's downfall. In Wisconsin they are recalling the governor for messing with the state workers collective bargaining. Lets say that Wisconsinites didn't waste a second to come up with over a million signatures to start the recall. Wisconsin a so called red state that is quite frankly guilty of union busting. But the Chicago way is to cry like little girls when they did nothing to stop the machine from stealing like bandits in the night.

Wow. You talk about who people vote for. How about this one college boy? Just maybe the poster was saying that Newt Gingrich will not win those states thus Mitt Romney will be the nominee and he doesn't see Mitt as a good thing... and 0825 is spot on, they're all the same. The dems and repubs got more in common with each other than any of us and if you think they're more likely to have a beer with you than someone of the other party that is closer to them in income, influence, political connections etc...jokes on you Joe 6.

Hate to tell you, but Obama is going to win again. No doubt about it. Why? Because all these politicians are in on it together. They threw the race in 2008 with the Sarah Palin fiasco and they're throwing it this year with the ridiculous candidates that they've offered. As the weeks go by, Romney will get the nomination and will then quickly do and say stupid things to jeopardize the tiny chance he actually has to win and that will be all she wrote. I'm dying to see who he picks as his running mate. Probably Herman Cain to try to get the black vote lol. Or someone equally as ridiculous as Sarah Palin to totally eradicate any chance of him beating Obama. Also, the media will begin to report that #1) the economy is turning around!, #2) our troops are all coming home yay!, #3) unemployment is waaaaaay down, and probably many other ridiculous bull$hit reports that make everyone jump on the Obama bandwagon. So prepare yourselves, people. Mr Barack will be re-elected. It's a done deal.

Good News?

Good news maybe from the perspective as to how disappointed people are with the broken promises of Washington.

However if anyone thinks that things are going to change other than who is getting the most kick backs with the other party in charge I think they're sadly mistaken.

Corporate money has to be barred from politics. Until then, all this is just a game..a puppet show with puppet leaders that do not represent the people.

Your exactly right. Red or Blue, your screwed because all these politicians are only needing and seeing green! The way it these jobs were ment were to have common folks who are working, get elected elected to represent the people in their area, serve a term or two, and get there ass back to work sos not to lose touch with f-cking reality! Career politicians Red or Blue are all full of sh-t! We all have real careers! They created one called screw the public and keep the power. Is that in the constitution anywhere? Please enlighten me for I am just a humble servant.

I agree 1:40pm. I love this country, but its fucked up. Almost like my dysfunctional family. Politicians and the money are the problem. Democrats love bloated bureaucracies, depend on the ignorance of the poor, and play the race card like a fiddle. Republicans cater to lobbyist, question your patriotism when you question them, and prey on people's fear.

The truth is the assholes are in it for themselves. They shake your with one hand and stab you in the back with the other. Anyone who is die hard republican or bleeds blue is fucking brainwashed.

Fuck Obama. Fuck Romney.

Think we need to wrap our minds around these fact:

1) the CPD will continue to shrink without a corresponding reduction in the exempt ranks.

2) The FOP is going to be impotent against the City come next contract negotiations as Rahmbo will rally the court of public opinion against the Blue shirts.

3) Obama will more than likely be re-elected.

4) The Financial collapse, and possibly society as we know it may no longer be a story-line in fictional novels, or the nut job doom & gloom guy.

5) Illinios will become a republican held business utopia shortly after hell freezes over, and the city council is reduced to 15 alderman.

Will the last person out of Chicago turn off the lights.

Everyone gut-level knows that -- that's why the media did this fliperroo, make it harder for you to think straight. Like the "Hispanic Whites/Non-Hispanic Whites" thing in demographic data.

Was it Newsweek or someone else who thought this up?

Really corrosive.
