Gun Stops Crime
- Milwaukee police say an armed robbery attempt at a grocery store ended when a customer opened fire.
A man armed with a shotgun entered an Aldi store in the north side of the city about 7 p.m. Monday and tried to rob the store, authorities say.
A customer pulled out a gun and fired at the suspect, who fled without any cash or merchandise. None of the employees or customers were injured.
Police say they're investigating whether a 20-year-old man who arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound is connected to the robbery attempt.

Give that person a Medal for doing their civic duty!
Just to think that animal could have killed people in that Aldi, if someone didn't have the means to respond to assholes demands in a way that is appropriate!
Cheesehead need to fix that aim and send that jerk to the morgue next time! Practice makes perfect!
Another perfect example of " carry and conceal law" to protect the honest citizens!
Hello! Illinois what you waiting for?
Da Pelon
Goes to show, when you NEED the Police, the Police are only minutes away. 5 minutes? 10 minutes, 20 MINUTES, etc....
Citizens handle your business accordingly and stay alive!
Remember the only good "Bad Guy", is a "DEAD Bad Guy"!
Guns saves lives and protects property! If Tiny Dancer's buddy BO gets a second term he will stack the Supreme Court with a majority of anti-second amendment judges and we can kiss our right to own firearms good bye. Join the NRA and the ISRA. It is well worth it.
The reason Illinois doesn't have concealed carry is because our legislature is so busy attempting to fix the states budget problem. As soon as they get their fiscal house in order they will work on passing concealed carry. Concealed carry licenses will cost $5,000 but will be free to anyone receiving public aid, section 8, Link, WIC, TANF.
CCW does work and is a deterrent for crime.
Who wants to bet the crime rate in WI goes down because of the new CCW law and the crime rate in IL shoots up even further?
Visit Illinois....famous for corruption, taxes and murder. What a vacation paradise!
Well that didn't take long. How long ago did they pass conceal carry in Wisconsin? Like 2 months ago?
I'll let my fellow p.o.'s on a little secret that I didn't even know about, and I consider myself somewhat knowledgeable with firearms:
-Look into the Utah carry conceal permit if you are worried about the wife and kids traveling with you. It's the only State issued carry conceal license permit that's honored in the most States- I think 44 of them!
You need something like $75 for the CCL permit and $100 for the 8 hour classroom course, which has to be taught by a certified Utah instructor who comes in only twice a year at the Crestwood VFW Hall. Allow about 6 months for the permit to come in the mail.
Traveling to Indiana and now Wisconsin? No problems! Well, I have to double check to see if Wisconsin honors the Utah permit since they just passed the law.
And if you really feel like it, you can pick up the Florida CCL course and add an additional 2 States- Florida and I forgot the other one, bringing the total to around 46 total States or something like that. Look into it yourself for the family.
I also was told that you can be grandfathered in if Illinois eventually passes their CCL law. Which would mean you can only carry the CCL permit from your State- Illinois, 1 State! But I would look into that too. Maybe someone reading this from here or even SCC has more info regarding this.
You're welcome!

Please don't post your little secrets and then say you have to double-check what "you were told".
Get you facts straight before you post, lot's of good info at handgunlaw.us
If you want a license to carry in Indiana or Wisconsin, next time you are in Pennsylvania you can get a non-resident License to Carry for $25 total cost, no class required. Just bring your FOID.

CCW coming to a city near you!!!
Milwaukee is just a suburb of Chicago these days.
Job security with chalkie increase...
Did anyone read about the officer who won $30,000 in a federal lawsuit? Pretty interesting. I guess it doesn't pay to be a jaggoff and whole line of people ready to testify against them. Finally people are doing what should be done. Assholes like that shouldn't be on the job. Always lookout for each other and don't let other officers be harrassed by anyone because once they are done with them...you could be next. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/chi-30000-for-cop-who-accused-boss-of-using-religious-ethnic-slurs-20120201,0,3016458.story

So some copper plays the ghetto lottery and wins some of your tax money and you are happy? You might want to rethink that. Take a look at the coppers history and you won't be so enthusiastic.....unless, of course, you are him. So? Are you?
If you have any questions about the CWP or training contact www.e2c.us or 1-866-371-6111 and the Instructors at Equip 2 Conceal will be happy to help you.
i guess they thought it would produce a negative response
and it "back fired" (no joke):)
or some one was asleep at the propaganda desk( no coffee and doughnuts with rahm for you!)
also it scares governer quinn that it shows that hey wi and everyother state has ccw and nobody is shooting up the town
( remeber that was one of the "facts" that anti gun lobby used)
the very first thing oppresive govt's do is remove your right to defend your self
then the other 'rights' fall like
a house of cards
