The regular citizens that live in Chicago just don't realize what most of us deal with on a day to day basis. And they will never know. That's where all of this animosity towards the police comes in. And when they hear our side of the story, well we must be exaggerating. They are more comfortable going on the half truths or half the story they hear on the news. And also most people don't care because it doesn't affect them. It brings in more intrest when they believe that it's the blogs fault or the city's fault for what this kid has gone through. There is no story when you make it an upbringing issue. But it has to be someone else's fault. It always is. A guy and his friend hunt down an off duty officer with guns, he kills them because he is defending himself and the city (and us taxpayers) are on the hook for over a million dollars? Just going to throw this out there. Interpol does not issue warrants. It is a clearinghouse for international warrants. I know this because I once had a client who had what looked like an "Interpol" warrant and when I contacted them they explained it was a Turkish warrant (yikes! Midnight Express anyone?) that they transmitted.

018- that type of thing happens on every district tac team. When something is going on, you adjust the sheets. Wow, now they decided to look into it ? If you can't get a duck once in awhile, I will leave the tac team and go to the watch, no big deal. Good luck filling my spot.

Garfield Ridge are nothing but gang bangers. The Capt. In question is a nice enough guy but his gang gangbanging relates need to be locked up. They are constantly representing and everytime they are stopped by the police, they throw the Capt's name out. I really hope the good Capt. Isn't in violation of a certain rule violation (47).

Nothing but gangbangers? What planet are you on? There are gangbangers sporadically throughout Garfield Ridge but it is definitely not all gangbangers. Good luck lance. The cars on the west end of 8 can't be everywhere at once. Try calling 911 if you see a gangbanger "representing". I know you don't because I hear the radio and there are hardly any calls in Garfield Ridge. True I live in Garfield Ridge, and it is still copland,and many still care about this area! Lance is just a great copper getting jammed up for doing an honest days work trying to keep the scum uncomfortable all LEGALLY! But he has to put up with shit from a higher ranking captain who has mucho clout! Don't worry Lance many of us have your back! When your house was fucked with many including myself drive around off duty to check your home!!

I was on vacation in Hawaii. They showed the kid crying his eyes out after the city took his prise away. Ther wer eno good comments for Chicago in the media. Nothing was said about any alleged gang ties or facebook page.
