Different Shooting

Sometime before the Officer was wounded on the south side, another Officer was involved in a shooting:
  • A man in his 30s was wounded by gunfire from a Chicago police officer today, authorities said.

The shooting took place at 12:49 p.m. in the 8200 block of South Stewart Avenue, said Officer Dan O'Brien of Police News Affairs.

Gresham District tactical officers attempted to pull over a vehicle on the 7900 block of South Lafayette Avenue, but the vehicle did not stop, according to a police statement.

Officers followed the vehicle for a short distance and the vehicle struck a tree, according to the statement.

It's getting wild on the south side. Or wilder.

I wonder if there's a compstat tracking of the number of police involved shootings and what his highness is doing to address this seemingly increase?

None of these jagoffs will pull over because they know any chase will be stopped by the supervisors. These morons might be dumb but they ain't stupid.
