Seriously?

Flaming Tutu & Sparkle-Farts are rumored to be considering having the 82nd Airborne on stand-by in case the protesters refuse to "knock it off?"

My ex-partner and I went to help the NYPD after 9/11. What a great bunch of guys. They put up a few of us in their homes on Staten Island. If they come here I will gladly return the favor. God bless the NYPD.

Greetings to the CPD from the 73rd Pct. in Brownsville, Brooklyn. My SH got it's nickname from the novel "Beau Geste". The motto for the 75th Pct. in East New York is "You give us 22 minutes, we'll give you a homicide."

I have one question. WHO THOUGHT UP THIS G8/NATO THING FOR CHICAGO? It's insane.

Stop by if you are in Brooklyn. Be sure to be alert and HR218 armed if you come to Brooklyn. You guys treated us great on St. Paddy's Day a few years back. If Bloomberg and Kelly give us the OK, see you in Chicago in May.

I just read the comments on the NYPD Rant. Many from John " Northside". I worked at Maxwell in the 70's with John. He was in robbery and I was in homicide. I remember him as a great detective, smart as hell and funny as hell. The cold and quiet nights were spent calling a radio station and a certain flop house and laughing our asses off. Keep it up John. The only thing that kept you from rising higher in the CPD ranks was politics and corrupt promotional exams. The media in this town have always been in the pockets of city hall and they would not touch the political and racial corruption within the police department.

I doubt the rumor of having the 82nd Airborne come in is true. But if so, it's a bad idea. I was in that unit in Iraq and those boys won't give a fuck about cameras or lawsuits or people's civil rights; they will just fuck people up. It's what they do best.

Good stuff by Northside.

Keep puttin' it on 'em!

9.5 & Hollow Dude want The All Americans (82nd Airborne) on standby for NATO/G8?

O_o?

If that's even an actual consideration, it shows Flaming Tutu & Sparkle-Farts are THAT desperate for this Flaming Shit-Show to fly without a hitch.

Bad bad idea! Those lads go into an area and leave a LOT enemy corpses when they about face and forward march. They. Do. Not. Fuck around. If you need the ever lovin' shit killed out of a bunch of people, ring the phone at Ft. Bragg.

I was just being kind and respectful. It was a long time ago. And, many people with much worse quailities have risen pretty far in rank. I would rather have worked for Northern then many I could think of.

Please elaborate on Northside's "worse quailities" [sic]. It reads like you're just an "anonymous" backstabbing coward who enjoys slandering good people because it makes you feel better about your miserable self.

No slander intended here so get a grip on yourself. Everyone has some bad qualities, to include you and me. I did not intend to slander anyone. John has always been a very good police officer and good person. This just came out the wrong way. Did yo forget your medication today??

No need to explain. For those who have been there, done that, who have dealt with him over the last thirty years, no explanation is necessary.
And, for those who know him and hero-worship him only because of his various posts here, you're seeing a very narrow slice of the picture.

Au contraire, douchebag.

Either EXPLAIN your potentially libelous innuendo or shut the fuck up.

In the unforeseen event that you are not the "anonymous" COWARD I believe you to be, you can contact me directly via eMail at cpdfop7@yahoo.com. I was never a "goodie-two-shoes" but I'll be damned if I'll tolerate your vapid smear tactics in attacking my good name. Oh, yes. Consider me litigious.

Guilty. While I am NOT "a loose cannon", I do indeed "march to my own drummer." I am NOT a "follower". In the metaphor of the wolves, sheep and the sheepdogs, I'm absolutely the latter.

Sooo... CPD tried to destroy J.N. after he raised a stink about a bullshit promotional exam and he STILL has it in him to stand up for coppers. You beef about "eccentric"? Everybody has quirks... Especially after their lives have been turned upside down for whisleblowing. Not hero worship, just glad somebody is there to raise hell for the police.

Look up MOS Schoolcraft NYPD.
He might end up being considered "eccentric" after all he's going through too.

Now what's your beef with J.N. again? Or maybe you were one of the bosses who tried to pile on for fun?

John,

It's got to be a retired rattlesnake boss with a brick on you for God knows what. You got along fine with the regular guys who all respected you as a street cop. Some bosses were scared of you. Keep up the great work in standing up for the CPD that we once knew before Daley 2.

In their research on ECCENTRICS, psychologists Weeks and James noted that while the mentally ill "suffer" from their ways, ECCENTRICS are quite happy and less prone to mental illness than others. Distinct characteristics of ECCENTRICS include:

- nonconformist
- idealistic
- opinionated and outspoken
- highly intelligent
- mischievious sense of humor
- knew early in childhood that he was different from others
- intense curiousity
- creative problem solver
