Weekend Totals

CBS has them this time:
  • At least five people were killed and 23 others wounded in separate shootings throughout the city that took place from late Friday through early Monday.

Three of the shootings — one of them fatal— happened at different spots on Francisco Avenue, from the West Side to the Northwest Side, police said.

Avoid Francisco we suppose. Is it in the zone?

It will be soon.

Why not make the whole damn city the "zone". That way we will always be where we are supposed to be. YAY!

Are we suppose to keep track of the killings, shootings and murders?

When did we start this?

Question? Did any of the victims contribute to the community or were they just drains on society?

The entire city will be in the fucking "zone" by July 4th. Lots of racial shit being stirred up by the extortionist Reverends and the White House. Wouldn't take much to set things off all over. Get your base up for the elections and scare enough other voters away from the polls. Seems like the strategy to me anyway. Could very well backfire also.

Or to put it another way 28 people shot and 5 of them died so far.

Moar cameras will fix everything right...right?

Even as Violent Crime Falls, Killing of Officers Rises

By MICHAEL S. SCHMIDT and JOSEPH GOLDSTEIN

According to statistics compiled by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, 72 police officers were killed in 2011, a 25 percent increase from the previous year and 75 percent rise from 2008

The 2011 deaths were the first time that more officers were killed by suspects than car accidents, according to data compiled by the International Association of Chiefs of Police. The number was the highest in nearly two decades, excluding those who died in the Sept. 11 attacks in 2001 and the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995.

While a majority of officers were killed in smaller cities, 13 were killed in cities of 250,000 or more. New York City lost two officers last year. On Sunday, four were wounded by a gunman in Brooklyn, bringing to eight the number of officers shot in the city since December.

“We haven’t seen a period of this type of violence in a long time,” said Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly of the New York Police Department.

Whatever happened to the Speed Cameras the Racoon wanted? Maybe the little rat bastard is waiting until there is an insurrection going on in Chicago to have his Alderweasels pass his ordinance.

Is the meat locker at the morgue still piled up to the ceiling?

They threw a couple of attendants under the bus -- guys who have been doing the dirty work for twenty or more years -- but left the "administrators" and so forth intact.

That was the last I heard. Everything must be alright now.

Preckwinkle just as bad as anyone else, S.O.S.

"At least five people were killed and 23 others wounded in separate shootings throughout the city that took place from late Friday through early Monday."

We have hit our stride. This seems like about a normal weekend.

If we get a 95-degree sticky weekend, with some more-than-usual disturbance running through the flashmob, the hive-mind, maybe we'll double that with 10 dead and 50 injured.

Thank God for "gun control."

I remember the first "gun registration" Daley I came out with -- just a little tan card.

Preckwinkle get that freezer scrubbed out yet?

Needs some Apricot Blossom Glade Plug-Ins.

On second thought, just leave it.

The Special Prosecutor in Florida sorting out the Trayvon-Zimmerman mess has announced she will make a decision on any charges...if any...within 72 hours. I can't see Zimmerman walking away from this with nothing but this case stinks to high heaven. The Liberal media did a wonderful job of inflaming the Blacks and others and a fair decision is probably not going to happen. This poor guy Zimmerman is afraid to come out of hiding for fear of his life. Even his family has been threatened by these racist Gangster jagoffs. Obama might win the election in November but this asshole will lose the country.

"Even as violent crime falls..."

"Defying trends..."

Everyone writes these stories Chicago-style now. Your house could be on fire with you in it and they'd be saying "Overall, fires are down."

Keep moving the reference point around to render statistics incomprehensible -- as if people couldn't hear the yelling and breaking bottles and gunshots outside...
