- Bleeding from a gunshot wound to his side, prosecutors said Ronald Peters crawled to the street outside his South Side home on Friday and put his hands in the air.
Larry Peters then raised a 12-gauge shotgun and shot his brother a second time, a witness told police.
Ronald Peters, 50, died a short time later. His older brother is being held without bail on a first-degree murder charge. Prosecutors say the dispute started when Ronald Peters asked his brother to be quiet.
Larry Peters, 63, was arrested about five minutes after the 3 p.m. shooting as police responded to the scene in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood.
Ask your brother to be quiet, get shot twice with a shotgun for your trouble.

It's the insane culture over there. If it wasn't a gun, the victim would have been stabbed or bludgeoned to death. Where are the rev's? When will A Politician finally have the balls to address the irresponsible and impulsively violent culture? The only outspoken person who talks the truth is celebrity bill Cosby.
The best part is Ronald and Larry Peters haven't ever held a steady job between the two of them and still live at home wiff dey Mama.
The good news is that one of them was permenantly removed from the Entitlement Trough.
The burning question, however, remains: with one in jail and the other in cold storage, just who is gonna cash Mama's checks?

Most of the stats have been updated to include Saturday's 7-fer. Including this one, January's total is now up to 42. That beats Jan 2012's 40. Go team!
Plan on tomorrow's record high temps to push the tally over 45. 2011 didn't see that many until June. Setting the tone for the year.

Ronald was unaware at the time that his brother Larry was suffering from PTSD (Post traumatic Shush disorder) ever since the 3rd (and last) grade. Mz Tompkinz da skool libarian had tolt Larry ta "shut da fuck up" and Larry had harbored a grudge ever since. Ronald had apparently shushed Larry one too many times, sending him over the edge. As McGoofy stated to the press "it's always the quiet one's, you have to watch out for".
I hope the responding unit didn't fail to do a contact card on the victim and write "No Response" in most of the fields.
Because that would just be a waste of a contact card opportunity moment. That's almost like an obaMAO teachable moment, but more valuable.

Dont be so quick to put Bill Cosby on a pedestal. Most of the criticism of his people that you read on line is bullshit---in other words he didnt actually speak those words--they are attributed to someone else. Check it out on Snopes if you're a doubter.

No. Contact cards are automated now. This would not work because you cannot fold an automated contact card. A Misc.-X card would have worked.
Contact cards may have been used to slow down the bleeding thus giving enough time for life saving measures to be taken........I know I know....it's brilliant. Thank me later.

A contact card would have prevented this confrontation. All we needed was an officer assigned to sit in the house with them all night drinking Natural ice. Everytime a verbal dispute broke out the officer would do a contact card. By the end of the night they would be passed out and the officer would come in with 50 contact cards. Problem solved.

No wonder why crime is going up.
