Shot for Refusing a Ride
- After several hours at a strip club with a fellow member of the Speed Rascals motorcycle club, Ricardo Rivera refused to get back into a car with his friend and it ended up costing him his life, according to prosecutors.
The friend, Gabriel Guardiola, 36, of the 1500 block of North Monticello Avenue, has been charged with first-degree murder in the slaying of Rivera, 31, in the 100 block of South Cicero Avenue Sunday morning, according to Police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez.
During Guardiola's bond hearing, where he was ordered held without bail, prosecutors said Guardiola had picked up Rivera at his Cicero home at 2 a.m. Sunday to go to a strip club, where the two had stayed until 4:20 a.m.
We're keeping a list - we should ban strip clubs and cars now. And Rothchild's liquor stores.
Yeah, it's a slow news day.

He got no-thing to do with no ga-angs.
Was this the one where the victim made the bloody snow angel?
Sounds like we need to ban walking too.
Troll says: This is exactly the violence the community is protesting the police over. The superintendent and you cops are not stopping the violence in the communities. Another example of a fine young man killed in his prime, unable to lead a rewarding and fulfilling life. Now lets start again and seriously: two dirt bags off the street. The problem is one only temporarily. He will be back after he does his time, probably about 30 years less one day off for each day of good behavior plus time served less 50% = see you in about 12 years. Ahh, I love how justice works in this democratic mecca. (It is really impossible to be serious with this bullshit)
Who cares. As long as its dirtbags killing each other.
This comes from people on the inside. The State of IL is considering changing how people are to be charged in homicide cases:
Felony charges will only be for murders committed with an "assault weapon." Misdemeanor charges will be for those charged with using a handgun, shotgun or weapons that fire less then 8 bullets.Disorderly Conduct charges for all murders that are committed with knives, rocks, baseball bats, etc. and fines for persons that are charged with scaring someone to death.
No loss. Too bad they didn't kill each other.
And here I thought that Facebook had severely stretched the definition of "friend."
Cicero strip joints were always nasty.
From one who knows.
He knew if he didn't get back in the car with him that his chances of survival in that shithole area was zero anyway!!
Rothchilds? 35 yrs ago they used to sell cigarettes to the police for .25 a pack.
Was there a turkey leg involved in this incident?
Come on, there had to be a turkey leg involved.
Hey McDumbass, the Grim Reaper stop by HQ. He said his cousin Chalkie called and asked him to stop bye. Apparently with warmer weather headed our way and based on your brilliant decisions Chalkie feels he's going to need a little help with the expected high volume. But don't worry we'll send all the news clippings to whatever podunk town you land in.
He told him twice. Three times the charm.
He was to drunk to drive. So in reality he did him a favor and helped keep his auto insurance rates down. Way down as a matter of fact.
To the decedent Mr. rivera. On aol news today Dr. Sam Parnia claims death is reversible within the first 8 hours. So keep that in mind next time you and Mr. Guardiola make a run to the liquor store, or just wait in the car.
