NATO 3 Lose Motion
- A Cook County judge Wednesday rejected the so-called NATO3 activists’ motion to dismiss terrorism charges stemming from the out-of-town protesters’ arrest last spring.
Judge Thaddeus Wilson said the Illinois terrorism statute is “constitutional on its face” and a “reasonable” law that “cracks down on terrorism.”
However, the judge also said in his 33-page ruling that Brian Church, Jared Chase and Brent Vincent Betterly’s attorneys can still argue that the statute is unconstitutional as applied to their specific case when the matter goes to trial in the fall.
Remember - they were just brewing beer.

For whatever it's worth...let these three angry children sit in jail. At least we can keep them restrained. We all know our judicial system is a joke and eventually they will be released angrier than they were before. I'm very greatful to those copper's who spent 2 months hanging out with these POS's under cover. Thank you for disrupting your lives, your job's, time with your real friends and those that really love you. Thank you for saving your fellow P.O.'s from what could have been a really bad situation. Most of us P.O.'s only know what the media has told us but the reality is that these three and their followers were ready and gearing up to attack, not only some buildings, but also the police asigned to the protest with a very violent program. By bringing these 3 down, their big plan fizzled. It is very scary knowing that some of these tactics included bows and arrows and bean bags intended to be shot at our treach tubes. Never mind the bottles of excrement and who knows what. Thank you again...and thank you again for reminding us what the "Thin Blue Line" means. I think sometimes we all forget. Let us always stick together...power lies in numbers.
