Police Shooting - South of Course
- A person was critically wounded this afternoon in a police-involved shooting in the Pill Hill neighborhood on the South Side.
The shooting happened in the 9400 block of South Jeffery Boulevard, according to fire officials.
Nice job Officers. Warm weekend ladies and gents - pay attention.

Channel 7 reported a TEEN was shot by the police. In the body of the story, they said "17yr old BOY".

Of all the stupid shit this guy says, I really can't figure out the "weather has no impact on crime". Hey G, try this. Of course the weather plays a significant role in crime. When it is warm out more people are outside.

Is there still a definite decrease in the increase? I know one thing, my wife can no longer buy her monthly CTA pass, that was not eliminated, it was simple a decrease in the discount. Thanks scumbag rahm.
Now retired, we are house hunting outside of Cook County. Me, my talents and most importantly, my pension and investments are getting the hell out of this cesspool City.
I stopped at a gas station in Wheaton yesterday for a fillup, I got regular gas for 22 cents a gallon CHEAPER than here! $3.74 a tank cheaper for my little car. And no $25 a gun Prenkwinkel tax! I have stopped buying anything firearm related in Cook County and ceased adhering to any Chicago based gun registration ordinance.
Fuck this place, time to GTFO!

Had another NO HOPE moment the other day at work. Sitting in office, newscast and one of our (black supposed Christian) officers says "Well you know, there's different policing on the south and west sides" as an explaintion for all the shootings. Then he goes on to rant about being stopped and taken out of car, even though he "identified" himself as a justification for how bad da white police are.
WTF!?!?
So I said I totally agree with him and added that maybe only black police officers should patrol those neighborhoods AND just to "level the playing field" only LATIN officers patrol Latin areas, Asians, the Asian areas etc.
He then says Im being silly....
Again a NO HOPE moment brought to me by racists and bigots.
