Cops Injured Chasing Gunmen
- Two Chicago police officers were treated Saturday for minor injuries they suffered in a collision while trying to apprehend two shooting suspects on the South Side.
The officers were responding to a report of people shooting from a white vehicle in the 4300-block of South Union. The officers said they tried to stop the vehicle, but it crashed into their squad car at 49th Street and Princeton.
Two suspects were taken into custody.
Speedy recovery officers.

Great all-around job by the officers involved (Gangs, Vice, and 009). Joe Gorman really has his guys kicking some ass down in that area. Hope the injured will be ok.

First of all, I think Gorman is a great guy. The arrest however was an on view by a covert car from vice who was driving down the street and a VRI unit.

haha, thats a funny joke. What makes it so funny is that is the same thing me and my partner say about Mt. Greenwood when we stop all the coppers kids from Mt. greenwood near 111th & Halsted when they're in daddy's car with the FOP medallion trying to buy heroin. Or when we're in Garfield Ridge and copper's kids there are dressed like gang-bangers and talk like they were raised in Englewood. Hahahaha, you got any more jokes??

The Ville.... A lot of good people from there, but also some hill jacks... Funny thing, many, many Mt. Greenwood & Beverly Irish derive from there, or at least there early family did... Fun place to party when i was a teen... Gangs have really f$&@ed it up there within the last 10yrs.
