An e-mailer pointed out that NBC ran a count last night - people shot since Obama arrived in town. That's certainly an interesting way of tracking crime statistics, but not surprising when south side shootings are charted by ho far they are from the home owned by Obama and Tony Rezko.

The shootings will continue. "No jobs, no peace" is the cry from the gang extortionists. They obviously have not heard that the Department of Health has set aside $54 million for "navigators" to assist people in signing up for Obamacare. No background checks, no drug tests, access to people's financial information . This will resemble all those "facilitators" at churches that set people up for the mortgage loans in years past. On Thursday evening, the CBS nationwide nightly news also had a story about murders in Chicago. The whole world, except for TD 9.5 and G-GOOF, can see we have graduated from Beirut on the lake to Kabul on the lake.
It should be available from the FBI. My money says in the last fifty years in Chicago at least 100,000 black men shot and 25,000 killed by black men.We have been hovering around 600-1000 dead in the 70,80 and 90s.Where are the Liberal Journalists checking our Democratic Party run City.
But were there as many shot and killed as the last time sparklefarts was in town. There might be a decrease in the increase.
The black-on-white crime in Chicago and all over the US is getting really scary. Cops, kids, elderly are all targets. There needs to be a 24 hr live cop channel on tv so people can see what the cops are up against.

With double digit unemployment, broken hopeless single parent homes, crime ridden communities, an ever increasing number of depression-era soup kitchens,record foreclosures, failed public school systems, no ecomonic opportunities and the tired, worn out promise of "Hope and Change" teleprompter speak, urban Chicagoans welcomed the 1% millionaires to the city to launder their ill gotten wealth to the democrat party in exchange for leglislative preferences for their special interests. The urban community responded with celebratory gunfire which had unintended consequences and collateral damage. Such celebrations are often seen on national television in the third world, uncivilized middle east. This money laundering scheme, a.k.a. fundraiser, reaped millions! Lets say that the democrats had a real vested interest in urban Chicago. Democrat actions speak louder than democrat words. Lets say your fundraisers were held at some of the fine restaurants, banquet halls and entertainment venues in Chatham, Englewood and Roseland areas providing a much needed economic boost in this soup-line economy. Incidently, these communities are where the violence occurred. Instead democrats chose Chablis,fillet mignon, lobster tails, chandeliers, caviar, champagne,etc. rather than ethnic foods on the southside with the unwashed voting base. You won't ever see ultra-elite top democrats mingle with their loyal voters and volunteer in the many soup kitchens, domestic violence shelters, urban food pantries or a parolee work release centers. If you democrats believe so whole heartily in ceasefire in light of this community-based violence, rise up and provide funding $$$ from your political fundraiser for lets say a 1000 more ex-cons to combat this streetplace carnage. Send a "positvie message" to your voting base. Democrats need to re-distrubute some of their personal fundraising profits and "invest" into those urban areas of need which support your party with a near 100% of their votes each election. Democrats, divest of your personal profits and provide help $$$ to those who need it most. Instead the 1% millionaire donors and elite democrats got out of dodge and boarded their private jets spewing tons of greenhouse gases back to the upscale Washington. "Grass roots democrats" are you better off than you were four years ago? How about your quality of life? Follow the money not the speak.

SCC, you have to give this one its own topic thread. Sun-Times.com is reporting that Tio Hardimann (sp?) is in custody in Hillside for domestic battery. Ha! Apparantly, he needs his own violence interruptor assigned to his house.
CHICAGO (CBS) – The head of a publicly funded anti-violence group is now facing charges after allegedly attacking his wife inside their suburban home.
Tio Hardiman, the head of Cease Fire/Cure The Violence, was arrested after allegedly striking his wife, Alison, in Hillside, CBS 2′s Mai Martinez reports.
Hardiman was booked at the Hillside Police station and has been charged with domestic abuse. He is scheduled to appear in bond court on Saturday.
