The Chaplains' Baseball Ballgame
Helping a bunch of people who help the police:
Aside from the Cubs game, what's not to like?
We kid! We kid! Rooftop parties are a great time and this is for a great cause. We took out the phone numbers because there appeared to be a bunch of personal cell numbers there. We're sure if you want tickets, you know someone on that list or know how to get a hold of the Chaplains themselves.

Oh, I'm sure the SOX would be a better choice.
/sarcasm
Of course, nobody on 3rd watch would be able to get time due to attend this since nobody can get time due these days. Even on a Tuesday.
In my unit, the Exec has denied personal day use so one officer could go to their kid's wedding and another officer was denied going to their kid's HS graduation--both requests made well within guidelines. It was only the thoughtfulness of other officers willing to trade that allowed them to attend.
One officer in my unit was told to take his furlo during the time of a family wedding instead of using the two P-Days that he wanted to use.....with only an 11 month notice.
I'll just make my donation to the PCM instead.

This Friday, 2 August CPD 'Chicago's Finest' vs. CFD 'Chicago's Bravest' in their annual baseball game at Sox Park.
The game is preceded by a tribute to Chicago Police and Fire who gave their lives or were injured in the line of duty.
Our Honor Guard normally assists in this tribute and there's a traditional pre-game ceremony along with a 'fly-over' by the CPD & CFD choppers.
This is a great event for kids of all ages. Parking is free and tailgating is allowed and the concessions are open. CPMF items will also be available.
Discount tickets are $5.00 and game day tickets at the park are just $10.00.
For details go to the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation website or to access this specific event, copy/paste the below info into your search site.

Off Topic but News Flash and important to know!
HEY SCC,
Flash news about our Detroit Brothers and Sisters!
Here come the cuts!

How long before asshole Rahm picks up on this idea!
The City of Detroit just slashed active officers pay by 10% across the board.
Time to start here for viable pensions. Ban gold braid pensions retroactively and no double dipping. Absolutely no one gets a six-figure pension. It's nothing more than patronage: GIVEN NOT EARNED.
Baseball Joke:
What do you do with an Elephant with three balls on'em?
You walk him and pitch to the Rhino
This is a great event come out, bring the family and have a good time while supporting a good cause benefiting our own in times of need.

They've been kickin back for drcades to the Dem. Party, to keep this extra, unearned pension bump perk. Time to end it FIRST, if
ANYONE gets cut. Cut Entitlements also, and increase fine fees for scofflaws and deadbeats.
All political corruption, Pay-to-Play. Taxpayers and workin Police get f*#ked while they get taken care of for bullshit, who they know, and other political connections.
DHS tried arrest some for weed on the north side today?
Detroit cut police pay 10 % and not one officer quit . If rahm offered us 2 % a year for 5 years we better grab it .
Look at some of the comments on the article, most people agree with some of them especially the one that says firefighters cook spaghetti all day and policemen eat and sleep in the cars we pay for. Some very ungrateful and uninformed people out there and that is what Rahm is counting on.
Slash School Lunches SNAP,Link, Welfare, unEmployment, and other Middle Class Taxpayer paid for Entitlements in Chicago. You see, they Rape and Rob you here in Multiple ways, to pay freeloaders to vote for them and their Communist agenda, to keep them in power.
Who says weather is not a factor? These scientists think otherwise.

OT: Monique Davis was on Bill O'Reilly Thursday night. He eviscerated her about her comments. She also insisted that none of the problems in her community was their fault. Unreal.

Well, Hello Cindy. Welcome to our little blog. You are looking mighty lovely today.
Sorry I missed you at the game, but feel free to stop by a little bistro we call Beatrice's to have a cold PBR after every sporting---or non-sporting----event you are involved with.
