Funeral Arrangements

Services are as follows:
  • WAKE: Friday,27DEC2013
    1500hrs-2100hrs
Russo's Chapel (4500 Roosevelt, Hillside, Il)

    Mass: Saturday, 28DEC2013
    1000 hrs
    Holy Name Cathedral
    (735 N. State St.)
In the meantime, no bail for the accused assholes. Lengthy records as speculated. Plenty of evidence recovered, footprints in the snow leading to the subjects and a decent video tape of the incident. It should be a slam dunk conviction, but that's not much comfort to the family this Christmas season.

Prayers for the family of this slain officer. I cannot imagine the horror of watching your father being gunned down right in front of you. May God rest his soul.

Nothing will stop the shitheads from wasting taxpayer dollars in bullshit lawsuits, because bullshit judges will refuse to dump their cases on day one.

These fuckers, and the millions more that will come after them will never stop draining this country of it's wealth.

There's no end to this war in sight, and this fallen comrade is just another notch in the belt of the catered to scum.

I am sure that the CPD will provide traffic control around the Cathedral with uniformed officers and not those TCA's.

May the officer rest in the hands of God.

I heard on the radio this AM that the jagoffs are in protective custody at the request of the Public Defender...

So are they going to stay in PC for the rest of their lives? Or will they get out some day and enter the dangerous area known as Gen. Pop aka Shankland?

Either way - works for me...

What a tragedy this is for the family of Officer Cuauhtemoc Estrada. A Marine, a Cook County Sheriff Officer and a family man. Animals who committed this crime do not deserve to see the light of day. Yet, they will be given a 40 year sentence and in about 18 years they will be out.

One would think that this info would also be on the fop website; but, no, it is still stuck on 09 Dec 13. I know they are busy over there, but, a local LEO killed in the performance of duty should be posted.

I have seen notices for family members of fop officials and staff and have now problem with it. Other agencies show their support for the CPD in our times of sorrow.

My heart goes out to the family of this fallen Officer, may GOD shine his holy lights upon his soul and his entire family, both blood and his entire police family. It is really sad that his life was taken by 2 thugs who GOD will undoubtably forgive, he can but I will never forgive thugs who do not have a clue of what it is to work for an honest living. They will be happy penned up for the rest of their lives with the other savage beasts. God pleas forgive me for sounding so cruel, but after 40 years of police work I cannot forgive worthless dogs.

Someone mentioned to me how this really changes the 'feel' of Christmas this year.
No, not really; the whole idea of Christmas is to honor the birth of someone who came here to help and save others. Exactly as this officer did.

The two POS savages should be forced to watch the entire wake and funeral on a closed circut monitor while sitting in their cell. I'm sure they both will be out by next Christmas to cause more havoc on society!

Anyone notice when nelson mandela finally croaked George Ryan had the nerve to speak in public and take credit again for ending the death penalty in Illinois and said what an inspiration mandela had been to him. Not the law enforcement officers who's killers he kicked off death row.

Piece of shit george ryan.

If I were them I wouldn't be worried about GP, I'd be worried about being locked up in DEPUTY ESTRADA'S HOUSE with all of HIS MOURNING BROTHERS AND SISTERS. You idiots picked the wrong one this time for real. Let the nightmares begin. RIP Deputy Estrada.

My condolences to the Sheriff's family. No words can truly ease the pain I'm sure you're enduring, especially at this time of the year.
May it help console you knowing that he is among the angels in heaven protecting us now. Godspeed officer.
