Nice to see the weather isn't hampering the bloodletting leading up to Christmas:
- Four men were killed and at least 17 other people were injured in shootings across the city since Friday afternoon.
The most recent fatal shooting happened about midnight Monday in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the South Side.
Easily maintaining the rate of over one person killed per day in December.

Just a thought. When homicides were stable and decreasing from 2009-2011 (at 453, 448, 431) there were citywide units. Then they were disbanded by a drunk from New York on orders from his socialist ballerina and the rate jumped to 502. These numbers are from hey jackass.
The socialist answer is to tax and throw money at problems, so they came up with VRI costing millions in overtime and the number is back to 438 with a week left in the year. Does this sound like socialists are the best managers of your money? I know they lie and say crime is down, but their own numbers speak louder.
Could it be that CPD was doing a better job before the socialist and their outsider puppets came along?

With a significantly less number of officers working the streets, we take a significantly less number of crime reports. VIOLA!
We have a decrease in overall crime we can pretend we are responsible for.

Has anyone noticed that some I believe car 4x has been going to scenes and suddenly it's not a homicide but a death investigation. They are trying to play with the numbers.

But hey jackass also counts CPD involved homicides so that bumps our murder total. With out COD shootings counted we have 425. Could easily beat 2011s total if everything continues as its been(more than 1 murder a day). Which I hope happens. I don't want human beings dieing but hey, I don't want people thinking things are actually better.

It's 1.2 miles away, according to googlemaps.
'Gentrified Logan Square' had a murder one block from the square itself about six weeks back. There's gang graffiti on the Centennial monument on a weekly basis. If any area needs more police protection, this one should be first on the list.
