Nice Weekend
- Two men are dead and at least 16 other people were wounded in shootings across Chicago since Friday afternoon.
A 26-year-old man was shot and killed early Saturday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.
Deangelo Shelton was standing in the vestibule of an apartment with a 25-year-old man in the 300 block of North Central Avenue about 1:25 a.m. when an unknown suspect entered with several other people and opened fire on the two men before running away, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Poor guy - out minding his own business at 1:25 in the morning in someone else's vestibule.

All I got to say is that from the ratio of wounded to deaders, the marksmanship of Chicago's hoodlum and thugs is terrible. It's that or they are using cheap 9mm full metal jacket ammo, or the ones being shot are super tough hombres.
. . . and keep on kickin' those shell-casings down the sewer !!

Funny the building that Shelton was kilt in was rehabbed about two years ago. I mean they gutted that place, looked nice before they let the mutts move in. Now that building looks as though it went through 40 years of ghetto abuse, amazing. Everything they touch turns to shit absolute shit, I feel sorry for the hard working decent people who try and do the right thing.
And just think the CCW law hasn't kicked in yet, LOL. I am sure we have more of these stories to come. I know I have gotten at least three civilian friends to arm themselves after my constant nagging them. They are now ready to carry and I will urge ALL my civilian friends and others to do the same and take advantage of the CONSTITUTIONAL law. Funny how this state is when it comes to laws and complete disregard for them when it comes to enforcing what's on the books and putting stuff on the books that shouldn't be there to begin with such as violating the U.S. Constitution and the whole right to bear arms thing. "Yeah, that applies to the rest of the country but not Chicago."

That's a tragedy, when I was a Det. in Area 5 I seem to recall his name surfacing in another murder where he may have been involved. Karma baby Karma.
How much Would crime go up if we did welfare reform?
