"Thumb in the Eye"
- President Obama has nominated Debo Adegbile to be Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division. Adegbile is best known for heading up the NAACP Legal Defense Fund’s race-based assault on the integrity of a dead Philadelphia police office in a quest to get his murderer, Mumia Abu-Jamal, off of death row. Adegbile is thus the perfect nominee to serve in the position held during most of the Obama administration by radical race-monger Tom Perez, now Obama’s Secretary of Labor.
Abu-Jamal, who shortly after shooting officer Daniel Faulkner proclaimed “I shot the mutha fuckah and I hope the mutha fuckah dies,” holds cult status among some leftists. This probably meant that, if anything, Adebile’s efforts on Abu-Jamal’s behalf were considered a plus by Obama and Eric Holder. The National FOP rips Obama a new one:
- As word of his nomination spreads through the law enforcement community, reactions range from anger to incredulity. Under this nominee’s leadership, the Legal Defense Fund of the NAACP volunteered [its] services to represent Wesley Cook, better known to the world as Mumia Abu-Jamal — our country’s most notorious cop-killer.
There is no disputing that Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner was murdered by this thug. His just sentence — death — was undone by your nominee and others like him who turned the justice system on its head with unfounded and unproven allegations of racism.

The president is showing nationally what everyone in Illinois knows of it's democrats - they do everything in their power to undercut the rule of law along with disrespecting those who serve.

Why this shock and surprise that Obama is acting like what he is, a flaming Marxist/Leninist. His politics are in line with Joe Stalin and he really is trying to affect fundamental change in the U.S. and it's system of government. This is the new wave coming from DC.
From the time he was first elected in 2008, barry let it be known where he stood with police officers by announcing that the federal budget for line of duty deaths would arbitrarily be cut in half, suggesting that his administration's internal analysis showed that they should expect a significant drop in such deaths in the short and long term as crime rates continued to drop overall.
But wouldn't you know it...such analysis proved wrong and barry's people said the savings was just a budget gimmick anyway to show savings on such expenses o paper, but the benefit to surviving members' families would, of course continue without any cuts to individual benefits.
This guy hates us. His absence from the memorials every May says it all. His "police acting stupidly" comment, or the refusal to start a second term with a new attorney general, these were all occasions to ask ourselves why fop organizations locally, at the state and national level have been too afraid to
do as the south an southwest sheriffs associations have done over the years.
When barry does something that hurts or adversely affects our profession, they don't hesitate to hold a press conference and voice dissent.
Here? Donohue claimed a vote was taken in 2008 of his members (anybody remember any such vote) and cowered with a no vote for the state lodge to pass on its endorsement of obama, our state lodge has done the politically expedient thing twice.
At the national level, the lodge refused to endorse either candidate in 2012. No wonder barry takes the same approach of complete disregard as the mayor here does to us locally. At least a strong Romney endorsement would let everyone know where we stand as far as this president is concerned.
Our national lodge has this same record of reticence for quite some time, as the membership had to override the national FOP desire to endorse Gore in 2000...
Illinois FOP on the other hand, has been endorsing obama for pretty much every one of his elections since 1996.

Also, the radical leftists Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins and Ed Asner are all ardent supporters of Wesley Cook, AKA Mumia Abu-Jamal. So was Paul Newmann before he died, and his foundation continues to support Mumia. Do not buy Paul Newmann food products or pay to watch performances by Sarandon, Robbins and Asner. They are all police haters.

Yes, Ben and jerry's is owned by Unilever now. But the former owners FOREVER saddled their company with an association to, and their support of, the cop killer, so I bypass their ice cream to this day.

OT: If you didn't catch it on the quick news report, Illinois will not receive FEMA aid for tornado victims from the November devastation. The damage isn't severe enough for the criteria needed. Didn't these scum do this to Joplin Missouri tornado victims and flooding victims several years ago? UNBELIEVABLE!

The taint of the support goes with the name. If it was sold, the new owners are stuck with it. I will never buy a Ben and Jerry anything, and I loved that stuff. If they made an effort to make it known that they weren't supporters it would be a good business decision.

Obama is constantly sending msg about what he thinks of the nation's police officers. In 2009 I went to DC for the national memorial after Rick Francis was killed. The President was a no-show instead he was at the White House with the Phillies for their WS championship. I know people say the president doesn't go he sends the attorney general. But why? So,what you do as a private citizen shouldn't effect a public company you own?? Bullshit!!! Sam Donaldson did a great segment on 20/20 about this case about 20 years ago. It's a slam dunk, GUILTY! Wesley Cook wants a retrial so he can plead guilty, but blame the times to hopefully get time served. You can freakin bank on it.
During that 20/20 segment a liberal, close personal supporter flat out asked him during a defining moment if he had done it. He said, YES! That liberal supporter and close friend immediately ended that relationship.

Yes. Their Cream Shop was run out of Mt. Greenwood by police-Families and police supporters Boycotting it, via Blogs and Word of Mouth. They only lasted a few Months, in an Ideal location across from a Park, that was full of people and kids all summer long. Keep it up NATION-Wide.
