More Snow?! During Winter??!!!??
- The worst of winter should be over by the end of February. That would be Friday, when it will still be miserably cold. Then we'll get more snow, maybe a lot of it.
- There isn't a lot of snow in the forecast for the rest of this week – some light snowfall is expected Friday – but look out next week.
A storm system that is expected to bring some rain to drought-ravaged California is headed this way early next week. It's too early to tell exactly where that snow will land or how much there will be, but Skilling did use these words to describe it: "Potentially significant."
Garry and Rahm are hoping this weather holds at least until May, especially after February 2014 surpassed February 2013 totals and they can't explain it away easily.

Groan.
Oh you can expect more severe weather. In fact you can expect climactic weather of biblical proportions. We are talking tremendous blizzards of snow and ice and extreme frigid temperatures', accompanied by fire and brimstone falling from the skies. The earth shifting, shaking and cracking, floods and dust storms, polar bears coming down from the north and strange apparitions in the sky. This will be the year that full fledged global warming will strike the U.S. Algore himself has predicted and promised it.
i remember this restaurant called medieval times on the north side. it was a dinner and play where customers were actually pulled into the show.
yeah..you ate with your hands there cuz it was medieval times. like turkey drumsticks
anyways, customers had to beg the queen for salt there too.
More snow. Winter. Yawn.
global warming or maybe its jimmy carters "ice age"
It's about time winter returns to Chicago. Let it be like it was in the 70's. Gotta have snow on the ground from Thanksgiving till Easter. Ah the days of sledding. Or skitching on car bumpers.
Medieval Times is still in business, but the location was shifted to Schaumburg.

Anyone remember the medieval/pirate show place they had at 86th and Cicero?

The hell with Chicago!
Now retired...
I think I will stay in Phoenix a little while longer, like maybe until April or May.
Locals down here are complaining that it got cold during the day, like a high of 68 degrees.
It MAY rain this week.
Had lunch out on the patio and slept with the window open.
Makes up for all the years I dug squad cars and citizens out of snow drifts and ruts; and a few frozen bodies out of gangways, basements and garages.
Stay Safe and Warm. This too shall pass.
Was not medieval times it was called the king's manor. It was located about the 2200 block of w Lawrence. Been gone for about twenty years.

Ah, nostalgia. Car bumpers.
Skilling's an absolute idiot and I'm surprised he's not a City employee!
I'm so tired of winter...
I said that last November.
Makes you want to consult the Old Farmer's Almanac before Furlough Picks for next year.
