- FROM A RELIABLE SOURCE: I have been talking to a high ranking source from the Cook County's Sheriff's Office who is soon going to be retiring and allegedly going public with this information.
The Sheriff's office has recently created non-written policy to actively discriminate against the United States armed forces veterans and active members. Lawyers for the Sheriff's office have concurred that military candidates for the department of corrections are not good candidates for employment because what Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart deems them as 'high risk' candidates for psychological problems.
The source says that one of these very qualified candidate served three tours in Afghanistan, passed all testing with flying colors, and was still denied employment because of his service to his country.
Gee, it almost sounds like Tracey Ladner, formerly the CPD Director of Personnel, has suddenly taken a position at the Cook County Sheriff's Office and is running hiring over there....oh wait, that part is true.
And it sounds like exactly the same situation that provoked a hiring lawsuit over supposed "psych tests" that failed veterans and relatives of police officers at a rate that couldn't be adequately explained.
What is that saying that McCarthy's people have? More than one occurrence is a pattern? We seem to have discovered a pattern.

Ever since the Viet Nam war leftist had been smearing vets, and labeling them as psycho and kill crazy. All vets are supposedly suffering PTSD. Even Homeland Security got into the act a few years ago, suggesting that vets, among others, have a strong potential for domestic terrorism. It is a sick and evil policy and should be stopped.
Amazing that Ladner leaves CPD and all of a sudden tuition payments that were over 18 months behind start getting paid.
I hope that bitch loses everything she owns and costs the county millions.

What's sick and evil is that the military still has its head buried in the sand about the issue of PTSD. It's one of the reasons for the high rate of military suicides. Please don't blame ignorance of mental health issues on the left.
My son was denied entry to the CPD, due to an incomplete pschy test, Bullshit, he aced his pscy classes in college has a degree and has since became involved in the lawsuit against the city. he has since been hired by another police dept. and is quite happy, the craving to be a Chicago Police Officer has past and he is not now wanting to be like his dad. He will now take the money after Dan Herbert embarrasses the SHIT out of the City.
Maybe if that piece of shit sheriff would hire more vets he might learn to dress like a professional law enforcement official instead of looking like an idiot frat boy coming off a three day drunk.God bless our vets!!!!
Well then why dont they initiate a hiring freeze of those who come from chicago altogether since chicago is known as chiraq, a war zone. That is 100% discrimination and those who serve in the military should get additional points for the hiring process. Why is it that almost everywhere else the military is respected as it should be, but over here it is bizarro world. It should be about best qualified and be done with this AA and EOE. I wasn't in the military.
Ladner is director of personnel for Office of the President...preckwinkle. She has nothing to do with hiring for sworn individuals, thats strictly handled by Dart's office. Go to the website and see for yourself. However, I dont doubt the rest.
Ladner is a veteran herself.
So shameful. I never served in the military, but I can tell you that when you're out there on the street, there is a small sense of relief if you have a former military guy (or gal) with you when shit hits the fan. They possess a confidence and skill set that was never a part of our training. I'm not generally a supporter of lawsuits, but in this case it's necessary.

What I don't get about Ladner is she is former military and was a jag lawyer. What a pathetic piece of savage shit she is. And I say savage because she is as ignorant and animalistic as they come.

If you answered that question affirmatively, you were automatically flagged for a psych evaluation where you were failed. Another cute little trick by the Daley regime.

Urban folklore. Some people will believe anything. Do you have any idea of how many po's kids and grandkids are on the job? Even today at every recruit graduation, there are interviews with po's who kids just graduated. FYO every class at the academy has 20% veterans in it. Last year a friend of mine took a special CPD test that was offered for veterans in military currently in the service.
Not justifying what is happening, heads should roll if it is true and the city should pay big time.
Psych tests have never been proven to be effective or accomplish anything except to be used as a tool to eliminate and applicant from getting a job.

How he ties his shoes is a challenge for him. Forgot, he only wears loafers and Madigan takes him for shoes to the old Goldblatt building at 47th. and Ashland. He has to have special shoes because his left leg is 3 inches shorter then his right leg.

Guys if CPD is being mean and ignorant in not hiring the best men for the job shame on them. Go to the FBI agencies this was the case of someone I know. In 1976 my brother was a applicant he scored very high on the written and physical went to the interview and was asked one question "do you have any family members on the police force" after answering he was told he wasn't candidate material. SO FUCK THESE POLITICIANS.
