Illinois Dems Eating Their Own?

  • The husband of Cook County Circuit Court Clerk Dorothy Brown was given oversight over millions of dollars in programs in Gov. Pat Quinn’s scandal-plagued anti-violence initiative despite having a felony conviction for a financial crime, according to court records obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times.
A felony conviction is barely a hurdle to holding political office around here. If you're a democrat, you just don't mention it around in polite company, the media pretends it doesn't exist and everyone goes on stealing and grafting and pocketing money. But here's the media breaking its silence for some reason.

  • Two separate law-enforcement agencies launched a new round of inquiries Friday into Gov. Pat Quinn's now-defunct Neighborhood Recovery Initiative, marking an expansion into the dual criminal probes of the governor's tainted, one-time anti-violence program.

"The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority has received inquiries from the Cook County state's attorney's office and the U.S. Attorney's...office-Central District regarding the now-defunct Neighborhood Recovery Initiative. We are working with these agencies to provide all records and requested information," said Cristin Evans, a spokeswoman for the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority.
Wait a minute....Anita? Anita Alvarez? Anita is issuing subpoenas? Against a sitting democrat?

Dear god, could this be the year the Cubs win it all?

Or Bruce Rauner does?

Former felony convictions, sex with children, animal abuse, practicing witch, none of it makes a bit of difference if you are a democrat. The ONLY thing that matters is loyalty to the party and loyalty to the cause. All else can be ignored or set aside.

This story will be huge as well as it should be. The many reverend family's had fun with our tax money sent to them by our state leader. Give the tax payers back the 58 million dollars that were lost to the zoo in which has been created.

Paving the way for Lisa in 4 years. Remember Quinn is a self-admitted progressive. He either loses to a repub or is taken out by the feds. In steps Lisa. Wouldn't do to have another dem challenge Quinn, a sitting dem. Look at the thought-to-be serious contenders before the primary. All dropped from the list.

One wonders why this is coming out now. Things like this happen for a reason, and the States Attorney's office is as political as anything else in this state. The U.S. Attorney's office is not as bad, but they can be motivated by politics also. I wonder if certain important democrats in this state want Quinn to loose. Question is why?

Well, it seems like there are only dems in Illinois.

A hurdle?
In Chicago, it's a prerequisite.
Most of it took place around 2010, but it's just now coming to light during the Governors re-election campaign.
Co-inkydink?
In Chicago, it's politics as usual.

The establishment wants Rauner, period.

The money crowd and Rahm are dirtying Quinn up.

1.) Get the reverends/gangs to suppress black turn out in Cook County.

2.) Play for "smart, independent, suburban women". That's why Bruce's wife is allover TV assuring them he only has an economic and education agenda. He's not a bat-shit crazy Christisn who will take your free birth control away, ya' know.

3.) Dirty Quinn up.

Come January, let the good time$ roll!!!!!!!! Loot for everyone (except pensions).

You get the point, Emanuel has sided with anyone who's against labor and for stealing pension pots of gold.

Emanuel is no democrat. His philosophy is that of the "new" democrat, and that's take it all away from public employees AND taxpayers and give it all away to the rich, since they're the ones paying for public office.

Letting Rauner win is a guarantee to constant legal battles for your pension rights.

Letting Rauner win is a guarantee that everything u under the sun will be used against our pensions in order that they be used as investment vehicles for Rauner's connected pals to get rich off of by bleeding fees away and putting money into fake investments that close up after the money's invested.

Rauner will not stop until ALL public employees are slaves and have no retirement anymore.

Rauner is anti labor no matter who it is, and if you want to see wages drop to shithole Chinese levels go ahead and elect Rauner.

It starts with public employees, it doesn't end there. His rich backers will work tirelessly to ensure that ALL protected labor in Illinois is gone and with it goes ALL labor wages in this state.

Illinois will become "right to be poor" just like the other states where labor is a slave to it's employer's greed level.

Pensions were never endangered by a Republican administration - they have been systematically looted and short-funded by Democrats. Mrs. Alvarez please do slam Willie Johnson and the attorneys whom advised him to come foward with his lies. I heard that since the statue of limitation was in affect he and some lawyers plan this so they including the jailed wore supposed to split the millions in exonerated case and all the "who's who" of former judges and attorneys urging you to NOT prosecute the illegal actions of this guy may be the same that advice you NOT to do the same with Koschmans case, look for the former U.S prosecutors in that list that advised Willie Johnson. As long as you do your due diligence the inoccent will prevail and the guilty will pay. This story is going to bring a lot of prosecutions. I wish you to prevail Mrs. Alvarez best of luck and stay firm.

Drug cartels are ruining Cinco de Mayo

By Matt Egan @mattmegan5 May 5, 2014: 9:38 AM ET

NEW YORK (CNNMoney)

"Don't blame your bartender this Cinco de Mayo for tossing a lemon in your Corona. Blame shadowy groups like the Knights Templar Cartel.

"While the great lime shortage of 2014 was initially sparked by severe winter weather and drought conditions in Mexico, criminal organizations have used violence and extortion to exacerbate the situation. The price of a case of limes, a mainstay of margaritas, guacamole and summer beers, has more than quadrupled in recent months.

"Mexico is the world's largest exporter of limes, sourcing [providing] almost all of the limes the U.S. consumes.

"The Knights Templar, which is based in the lime producing epicenter of Michoacán, is a splinter group of La Familia Michoacana, the drug cartel dismantled by law enforcement around 2011.

"Breaking up major organized crime groups into smaller pieces does not necessarily make them more manageable..."

"In recent years the group has pushed into kidnapping, human trafficking and extortion of various business owners, including those involved in lime exports.

"As it becomes more and more difficult to move drugs into the United States, all of these cartels have diversified their businesses," said Shannon O'Neil, a senior fellow for Latin American studies at the Council on Foreign Relations.

"Cartel members have demanded a certain percentage of orchard owners' lime shipments, threatening to burn down their farms, rape their daughters or kill their children.

"Business owners inside and outside the lime industry have recently pushed back by forming vigilante "self-defense" groups, which have battled the drug cartels in violent shootouts."

http://money.cnn.com/2014/05/05/investing/lime-shortage-drug-cartels/index.html?iid=s_mpm

It's true. Limes (damned small ones, too) were 3/$1.00 at the store yesterday. Used to be 10/$1.00, and bigger.

Understand that the avocado growers are also under attack.

"If Bruce does win our pensions are hosed." Actually, I think it's the other way around. If Bruce does not win, your pensions are hosed. Guys, the tax payers/businesses aren't going to stand for the increases in taxes to fund the pensions, and the politicians/union bosses that have gotten us into this mess have no idea how to get us out. Rauner will probably drive some fundamental changes to pensions, but in doing so he will make it so you actually have a retirement instead of a disaster in waiting.

By the way Dean the Dream who brought Bill Nolan back to the fold as immediate past president has not been thew immediate past president for at least 12 years. John Dineen is now our parliamentarian at $7200.00 a year a position that has never been paid for in the past. Every one of our elected officers are going to expect that we make up the difference from their salary to D-8 pay even though they are not brought up to the office as field reps. Additional Dean the Dream has already notified MLAS and had the guys he wants as field reps assigned to FOP at D-8 captains pay. He is suppose to receive board approval first before these field reps are appointed and it has not happened yet. We now officially have another dictator. Does what he wants and says fuck you to the board.
