Sixth Person Charged in Murder
At what point does this fall into the "conspiracy" category and get charged accordingly?
- A sixth person has been charged in connection with the slaying of a 14-year-old girl in the Back of the Yards neighborhood this week.
Police said the gun used to kill 14-year-old Endia Martin on Monday passed through the hands of a Streeterville man before it ended up with the alleged shooter’s uncle.
Floyd Evans, 43, has been charged with possessing a gun without a valid Firearm Owner’s Identification card, and failure to report to his probation officer.
So we have the following:
- the 14 year old shooter
- the 34 year old purchaser of the gun (who transferred it illegally)
- the 43 year old middleman (who had no FOID and a probation warrant)
- the 25 year old uncle (crippled by gunfire, riding a bus with a gun he knew was going to be used in a fight)
- a 32 year old auntie (who knew what was up and did nothing but tag along for the show)
- and the 17 year old who tried to hide the gun following the murder.
But remember - Illinois' lax gun laws and Concealed Carry gun owners were completely to blame for this.

A very reliable source from I.A.D. has informed me that the new beat tags being given to the bosses will have RF Signal Trackers hidden inside of them. The plan is to jam up the cops stealing the tags and bringing charges for theft of city property. Don't get caught or lose your job over joking around. It's not worth it for your family or financial well being.

I implore my brothers and sisters- regardless if you work midnights, 3rd watch, you are on furlo, you don't feel well, or drank too many soda pops the night before and have a headache. I don't care whether we have a contract or not, whether the city is playing games with our medical or pension, or whether you can't get a steady car. It is not an excuse if your boss denied time due, or your sgt is a jerk.
There is no excuse to turn your back on the family in blue we've lost along the way. The families of the fallen will be there, and looking for our extended family support. It's not the time to make a short-sighted statement of disdain to whoever you're mad at, or a time to be lazy. At the end of the day, we are really all we have, and we need to have respect for each other-- ESPECIALLY those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

SCC, I found a solution. Make it mandatory that all Chicago residents posses a FOID card for life starting at the age of 14. And make it mandatory that all residents obtain a conceal carry license.
Then every one like Garry and Rahm can shut the fuck up once it becomes apparent that gun laws aren't the problem. They can then start saying what's really wrong with this city. We've got an epidemic outbreak of evil in the streets. I'm not a cop, but I can see this is the problem, not the gun or the gun laws.
Cops aren't equipped to stop evil - you guys do a great job at preventing and stopping crime. But evil is in the heart and it starts at a young age. It's encouraged by the culture and the environment.
My friend who's an immigrant to the US for 3 years told me he wintessed a 5 year old boy at a party on the south side pretending to shoot the cops. He was was walking around the party acting like a gangbanger with his pants half down his legs, hat cocked sideways, reciting a rap song that my friend couldnt understand, pretending to pull a gun from his pants and shoot imaginary police. My friend stood horrified as he watched all the adults laugh and encourage the boy's behavior. Neddless to say I told my friend to stay the hell away from these people and the south side.

Very disturbing trend developing with all this social media. It happens every day where jibber jabber results in violence. I have investigated cases where one may think it is bullying over social media but it goes beyond that. Gang members threaten and taunt each other and people end up dead. Once again this is the result of irresponsible parenting and thug lifestyle. Enforce the laws we have and stop this nonsense once and for all.

The plot thickens. Lots of laws broken and thankfully, the lawless have been charged. More laws for these types of people equate to more opportunities to violate a whole lot more laws. Sadly, the adults and yes the children, live a day to day existence. Here today, gone tomorrow. No job, no bills, no future, no Hope, no Change, getting paid, all without consequences.
Criminal law need not apply. Only those laws which benefit them with the monetary opportunity such as suing someone with assets civilly or those laws which grant entitlement monies and assorted benefits need apply. Lots of those on the books gun criminal laws violated by many leading up to the ultimate crime, first degree murder.
Lets examine those charged. From a philosophical standpoint, are those charged society’s assets or society’s liabilities? Have those charged contributed to society or been a drain on society? After the cook county revolving door of social justice do their thang, will these offenders be returned to society after being rehabilitated turning their lives around? Or will they go back to the lifestyle which contributes to so much negativity and so much chaos onto the community?
Enough of the 025 bullshit already.

What is even more ridiculous is that this happens more often than others think. I dont mean exactly like this fucked up story but very similar. And every day I keep them in my thoughts. The st. Jude parade is now a side show for the exempts to brag to one another about who had a bigger turnout. When we marched down Michigan ave. it was for the city and world to see. I remember tourists wanting to know what it was all about and were very touched by the display. But now it has been relocated to an out of sight location where no one sees it and maybe gets 3-5 seconds on the 10 pm news. Remember every exempt there has nothing but contempt for US. They stand by as officers get jammed up for no legitimate reason except political expediency and then act concerned for the cameras when one of us is murdered. We drive in vehicles that I wouldn't let my family drive, vehicles with 120,000 miles, bald tires, steering that wobbles at high speeds, tires that come off when driving, PDTs that just don't work. We are under staffed, doing more with less, siting idle after roll call because their aren't enough cars to take out thus giving our officers depleted backup. We can't get a day off for a family event because of no manpower, we are denied furlough extensions and on top of that they want to take our pension away. So to every exempt out there at st. Jude, you are the. Reason why I don't go because of your lying morality, hypocrisy, and absolute corruption.
Now , let us see convictions in our cook county courts .

Medical Examiner: Edgewater man shot to death

An autopsy today determined an Edgewater neighborhood man found outside his home last month died of multiple gunshot wounds from a homicide, authorities said.
John J. Myles, 45, of the 1700 block of West Rosehill Drive, died of multiple gunshot wounds, according an autopsy report from the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Myles’ death was ruled a homicide, according to the office.
Police and the medical examiner’s office said Myles was found shot outside his home on April 19.

Yes -- and they were also more educable. Society has been turned upside down since then.
The Coronet films fascinate me.
The company was started by a David A. Smart, publisher of Esquire and Coronet magazines. "Infinite riches in a little room" was his motto.
More than anything I see them as having been produced by people astute enough to observe the culture and mores prevailing around them and re-package these qualities in a salable form.
Be that as it may, the films really did reflect the manners, consideration for others, cleanliness, and general decency of their time.
Predictably -- after having profited from their distribution -- the media apparatus now mocks them as "camp," "kitsch," etc. today, as with "Leave It To Beaver," "Ozzie and Harriet," and other material derived from the quiet, hard-working, nuclear American family that is under assault on all fronts today.

I was at the March today and saw Alex Valadez's son. The little guy doesn't know anything about bad bosses, shitty cars, low manpower or broken PDT's. But he DOES see all of the officers walk by and maybe for a minute he feels good and has a smile on his face. If I played a tiny part in making him feel better for a minute, I'll take that.
