What Happened in Indy Last Weekend?
- INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 2, 2014) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police experienced fewer problems with teen violence last weekend.
That’s when the NRA convention was downtown.
About 75,000 people attended the convention, and many of them were legally armed.
IMPD says it was the most peaceful Saturday in the month of April downtown.
Here’s a look at the stats for Saturday Night Problems in the month of April:
April 5: 300 teens at Circle Centre
April 12: 200 teens in large groups
April 19: 400 teens and shots fired
April 26 (NRA Convention): 100 teens, dispersed quickly
Golly, it's almost like a large number of guns prevented crime, but that isn't possible according to Rahm, Garry, the "revruns" and assorted liberal commentators. Unless....
.....unless they're lying.

It's very cheap to join the NRA and the ISRA. Please join!
And the meek shall inherit the earth
I went to the convention. I only saw three folks with guns ( they must have open carry too in Indiana) No fights, just folks wandering around looking at the wares. No saggy pants, no baby momma drama.
Wonderful weekend.
Dear SCC,
The reduction in teens was not due to the large armed populace. It was due to the weather. Duh!!!!!
XOXOXO,
Garry
What two things seem to be common amongst mass shootings?
1. A Psychiatrist was treating and medicating the shooter.
2. The shooter was NOT a member of the NRA.
I'd rather be around NRA folk than medicated psychos.
I need to get that lifetime membership....
The meek shall inherit...nothing.
Hilarious, but true.
Why doesn't Chicago try to attract the next NRA convention? You want the hotels and restaurants full, right?
Hell-OOO.
>click spat zzzzz<
Something wrong with the phone? Is that it?

Indy has an interesting Saturday night tradition. Everyone brings their fancy trucks and tricked out ride downtown and drives around. Traffic's a nightmare, but the entertainment is high.
Kind of an updated version of working on your car all day Saturday, then showing it off to the carhops at a place like Skip's on Saturday night.
NRA membership free to police.
Was at the NRA convention of Friday.
Love Indiana. Its open carry! Talked to Indy Metro Copper for a few minutes who loved that the NRA convention was in town.
Said the NRA convention puts about 5+ million into the economy and pays the OT for the extra coppers.

Could you imagine having a Skips now? Bad mannered monsters would start shooting because of some perceived disrespect. Their stupid skanks wold be egging on the fools and starting their own fights.
