- One man was killed and at least seven others were injured in shootings across Chicago since Monday evening.
And that was just Monday into Tuesday.
Tuesday hasn't been looking that hot either.
Wednesday is supposed to be the warmest day of the year...so far. Good thing that doesn't matter.

RE: The Erie Park shootings. I posted the other day, my family moved out of state last year from River North. The exodus you officers have talked about is happening, right now, quietly.
Born and raised in Chicago, I had family on both the north and south sides. My Pops drove me all around town and showed me firsthand the disinvestment and dereliction so common in the 70s. Sure, the 80s and 90s stabilized but it's clear that respite is over. Prepare. Listen to your own common sense and not the media.

We honor the wrong people on this job. The people who move forward taking promotions and hiding inside can go fuck themselves. I am so disappointed at a commander who cant look an officer in there eye who has been dealing with the domestics missing kids and other beats stuff that I dont want to deal with and kick them off the car. This department has lost its way and balls. I love my fellow police officers who show up when the neighborhood is starting to converge on me. Where are my jnside officers smiling unaffected where is my commander honoring them. I say this they can go f*$&#&k themselves....010 district sucks.
