- Disgraced former congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. can’t be accused of having idle hands while he serves his prison sentence for corruption charges. Jackson has become quite adept at scrubbing toilets, showers and sinks, according to a letter from a fellow inmate obtained by NBC 5.
The letter was part of a package sent by Jackson to the Obama administration seeking pardons for all ex-offenders. John Karoly, a former attorney from Pennsylvania who served time with Jackson at the Federal Correction Center in Butner, N.C. before Jackson was transferred to an Alabama prison in March, wrote Jackson did a “fastidious job” making that porcelain shine.
While one could make the case that the sins of the father (Jesse threatening to cut off Obama's nuts) are visited upon the son in this case, it's amusing that JJJr is pinning a large part of his hopes for redemption on that very same individual. You missed a spot Junior.

The entire Jackson family should be cleaning toilets in the joint. An arrogant corrupt extortionist criminal clan.
It is shameful what they are doing to that fine young man. He has a serious mental health problem, an illness, and because of it he is being imprisoned and abused. He is from a good family and being treated like dirt. May the Lord protect him.
There aren't enough toilets in the world for him to clean, as far as I'm concerned. I hope that prison serves beans and bran muffins every single day.
And yet this convicted felon is still being paid almost 200k per year by the tax payers because he is "disabled"!
I'll scrub toilets for $9K a month in disability.

JJJ didn't have an illness when he was stealing money. He seemed just fine. In fact, I recall he even baited the Feds to come get him. Where's the strut in his step now?

Im surprised the media hasnt called this an example of rampant racisim in the prison system. They're going to do a study now on how many white prisoners are cleaning toilets vs. black.

Maybe you should go there and help him out!
LOL, I posted to my FB page about three months ago he would do get pardoned by Obama (but for cleaning toilets? I am sure he is NOT doing that), his wife would serve no jail time (as the poor Jacksons have suffered enough and the babies need their momma) and he will come back and run for office successfully and will have been cured of his bipolar disease and will have paid his debt to society. Let's see if my crystal ball is right. LOL.
He and his wife will be pardoned by the president. Then they can sue and get everything back to the way it was. It's the "Chicago Way"!

I would not doubt that Obama will give JJR a pardon on Obamas last day in office. Clinton gave hundreds of corrupt people pardons, most of whom gave political contributions to him. This effort was led by none other then the current US Attorney General.

There is Hope for Jesse Jackson Jr's Change. He can be rehabilitated and upon release, he is afforded the opportunity find employment with new skills as a custodial engineer. JJ Jr is doing away with all the dirt in his life. Gonna start a new life with a glistening porcelean throne to call all his own on that newly refinanced home. Puts a new meaning on being sent to the shitter. May he forever be called the new and improved tidy bowl man.
