- A Good Samaritan rescued a 3-year-old boy from an SUV just before it burst into flames after crashing into a building in Englewood.
A good Samaritan in Englewood? Unusual enough in itself, but thank goodness he was there, otherwise, this kid burns to death.

Of course it was. We're pretty sure that most cars that crash into buildings at midnight are stolen. There really ought to be a study done.

- Police said the driver fled the scene after the crash, leaving the boy to fend for himself inside the vehicle.
And mommy dearest?
- Officers have since located the child’s mother, and determined the SUV had been stolen. Police said she knows the person who took the SUV, but no one was in custody as of Monday morning.
Always let "dad" take junior out in a hot ride after midnight, run into buildings and then leave junior to take the heat..

The awesome part is that the vehicle slammed right into an auto parts store with a huge "WE BUY JUNK VEHICLES" sign right above it.

The original report that the news media gave said that, "momma was in a car following the stolen vehicle." She was on the scene as the boy was rescued and revived!

My uncle went to Englewood H.S. and often spoke fondly of growing up there. He graduated in 1929. I just can't imagine what could have changed about the neighborhood in the last eighty five years. I'm sure the dems have a plausible explanation.

10 Tact guys were on the arrest report and they transported the kid to the JISC and demanded a court date. The also had to do a TRR when the kid resisted by crying too much. Only 3 tact guys had to go to the hospital. They also wrote him tickets and when they were done they went out drinking and told stories of their scary night at the bar to anyone who would listen.

So was the west side. I grew up in Austin. That went to shit very quickly. I recall National Guard camped out at Austin High School. After the King riots, people couldn't get out fast enough.
The last people to sell, closest to Austin Blvd, got screwed the most.
