A happy ending:
- Authorities this morning released the name of a man fatally shot by police in the South Austin neighborhood on Sunday.
Officials identified the man as Gary Smith, 37, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. His home address was not immediately known.
The family is already laying the ground work with their "Woo woo woo, he was just running away," bullshit, and the Tribune of course, printed it. Just like the Sun Times spins a known shooter/murderer as taking his rifle out for a walk.

And what is wrong with taking your rifle out for a walk. Chicago is a violent place. Having your rifle with you would be a very comforting thing to have. Besides one of the unwritten laws is: if you might get into a pistol gunfight, have a rifle.
Just like the Sun Times spins a known shooter/murderer as taking his rifle out for a walk.
Well you have to give rifles AT LEAST 30 minutes of exercise a day or they will walk out of the house and murder children.
How do YOU practice gun safety? Lock them up in a stuffy safe and fire them for familiarization once a month? pffft...

This type of reaction and behavior has been engrained in their minds for generations. Be loud and obnoxious, as the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Bitch, moan and play the race card at the drop of a hat if it means they'll be pacified with some more cash or another "free" handout.

I can go on for days, but the gist of the point is obvious. Certain Folks (and People) are beyond help and are best left to their own devices sans taxpayer funding. Time to separate these parasites from the public teat.
All rifles should be taken out for a walk. Use a leash and don't forget to pick up after it.

This is not even a biased comment(for all you non-police or less-informed readers). This is exactly what happens so regularly that it is expected. It is impossible for these creatures to be responsible and accountable for their own actions.
His address was not immediately known because he doesn't have a home. It's our home. Those who paid taxes, it's ours. I better not be responsible for his funeral cost as well.
I wonder if there is a market in South Austin for a rifle walking service. You know, walk them in the park, along the street, etc. That way their owner's know that they are getting the attention and care they need.

When I retire I'm going to see if I can get a job at a missile silo in North Dakota so I don't have to deal with the citizenry at all. Just me handcuffed to the proverbial button.

From a guy who saw that picture, there is a magazine in the rifle.
I downloaded the pic and edited it by adding more brightness and less contrast. There definately is a small magazine in the rifle, maybe 10 rounds or less.
