015 Shooting
- A Chicago Police officer shot an armed man multiple times early Sunday in the South Austin neighborhood after the man turned and raised his gun at the officer, according to police and union officials.
That man, thought to be in his 20s, was struck several times and taken in critical condition to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, according to Fraternal Order of Police spokesman Pat Camden.
The police-involved shooting occurred the same weekend officers grappled with gun violence around the city that led to three deaths and 16 additional injuries since Friday night.
Cops are fine, bad guy in critical, gun recovered.
Well done Officers.

Why didn't Commander "Pillows" sit this young man down and have a talk with him and his family at the dinner table? This all could have been avoided if "Pillows" had taken the time to talk some sense into him and showed him the error of his ways.
Nicely done.
I can't wait to see the shitheads 8th grade graduation photo on TV !!!!!!
Read the Trib breaking news article on this event.
It will make your blood boil. I think the "journalist" may be a kid in high school taking Journalism 101.
Hear that the bad guy is now DRT - Dead Right There. As has been said before: pull a gun on a cop and you have a great chance of getting shot. Surrender and don't resist and you can have your day in court instead.
Thank G-d the police officer is fine.

Adam Sege wrote quite a nice [biased] piece on this shooting. Stupid Chicago media. "Da PO-lices shoved him down and just shot 'im. He wuz a good man and was just scared."
Bad guy dead...VERY DEAD!!!
Love the picture of DA pointing out something to the Detective, The problem is that that merit hack is not fit to shine the Detectives shoes. Too bad he could not make Detective himself but why bother wit dat, he be headed straight to the top. Please no, but he is a nice guy comments. Wake up SHEEP...
Relax already. Just a job.

The gene pool has been cleansed of one more POS.
