We pay into social security and are entitled to it at retirement age and we can't receive full benefits, we can only receive 40%,yet they want to diminish pension benefits! Slow Cola down or cut altogether,well I say one or the other,social security was designed to help you after retirement,supplement your income,so if your going to cut back pension benefits which is against the constitution and is suit worthy,then at least give officers entire social security benefits,which is actually the money they put in during the course of working,up until becoming the police! How in two separate incidents are politicians trying to steal money we actually put into saving for our future well being,one day when officers retire and deserve an amicable financial future as contractually agreed,they should get it!
Spend the tax money, give them cell phones, houses, money, food, liquor, just whatever they want! Raise the taxes if you must. Please just keep the animals away from my family. Please I beg you.

Was at store today west end of 008 and large lady in front of me had 2 carts full of groceries and used 3 link yes 3 link cards, all kinds of food. I asked cashier if this happens often she told me all the time, and her husband works 12 hours a day 6 days and week and they could never afford all the food the lady in front of me bought her total was $445.00 all paid with your tax money. No money for pensions of hard working first responders but trillions given away for these thieves.
Does the attorney generals office Lisa madigan do any investigations?

Actually, there's a city ordinance, backed by state law that keeps city employees from moving out of the city.
But more importantly, should my family & I be forced to move out of the city and state that I once truly loved, because these POS politicians destroyed it?
I used to be proud to say I'm from Chicago.

There is no "HELL". It's now called Chicago, Cook County, Illinois! If you reside here you can say that you did time in "HELL". Can't call it living.
