New rules in 011 from 1100x. Tact teams do not respond to selling jobs and the beat cars don't respond to 911 calls so they can be on missions. I am wondering if anyone out there knows how that would cause a problem with liability? If we aren't responding to calls of help from citizens because we are on missions, we can't get in trouble right?

I'd like to see the Sun Times report whether shooters had permits to carry or FOID cards. Also what kind of gun and what its magazine capacity was. These details are germane to current events regarding gun regulations.

Thank you 24th district Commander Waldera for greatly improving morale on the 2nd watch. The addition of new Sergeants has pleased the entire watch. Now hopefully all the negativity will cease and the one douchebag that remains will go quietly in the night and finally either leave or retire to care for her 12 dogs.
To the young P.O from 011...Did MANY years over there when we had GOOD bosses. BEST advice I can give you is MAKE SURE that you and the guys you leave roll call with ALL go home safe; ALWAYS BACK EACH OTHER UP!! Things will NEVER change until the powers to be have the balls to call out the REAL problem; the "PEOPLE" of that area. Same thing in ALL the ghetto districts. The nitwit bosses fucked everything up when I was young on the job too. It was through the looking glass. I thought I was in there to drain the swamp and then I started to realize I was surrounded by crocodiles. I met the enemy and he was us.

Beat/caps meetings are a joke and always have been. Why do the police have to run and answer questions in these meetings? It should be the alderman's office. The beat meeting is just another way for the city to blame police for shit going wrong. It puts a police face to the problems we usually can't address. The sgt, or whoever runs it, is going to give the same run around answers as everyone else. Because, the sgt, can't do anything about it anyway. The problem is when you have (or go) to the beat meetings in on city workers beats, they know the answers are bullshit.
CALL YOUR ALDERMAN! Start putting pressure on them like the people do in the shitty areas.

I'm right next to 008. Just east in 9. That is the type of Sgt the coppers from 008 R talking about that have white shirts and CLEARLY don't deserve to be part of The Brave New World.
When I'm on 922 or 923(any where that East 008 border I say a prayer for those coppers working the east end of 008. That's a non stop shit hole and those coppers earn every dime and then some of their salary.
