- Sen. Mark Kirk said today that 429 unaccompanied minors from the Mexican border crisis are in Chicago in the custody of a federal agency, and he wants to know if any of the children have criminal records.
Kirk, an Illinois Republican, said the children are in the custody of the Health and Human Services Department. His news release did not say where the children are being housed.
In the release, Kirk also said the State Department is “unable to confirm if any of these individuals has a criminal record or background.”
We'll bet a paycheck that these kids are going to be here a while. And Chicago taxpayers will be footing the bill for school, housing, medical care, etc. Last time we checked, 92 million Americans were out of work or had left the workforce, but Obama and the democrats want to bring over and legalize upward of 20 million more because nothing says "compassion" more than impoverishing and eliminating the middle-class by creating an underclass completely dependent on government handouts.

The freebies don't bother me as much as the fact that over 50,000 kids, yes KIDS, have crossed over since October?!?!?! I suspect it may even be an under-reported number. The part that really scares me is, if kids or minors, or a bunch of moms with little ones, are crossing not not only Guatemala & Mexico, but the U.S. border. From my understanding, they are being shipped across the country, processed, and then let go in to a city - with virtually nothing? “Based on what we know about these cases, it is unlikely that most of these kids will qualify for humanitarian relief,” Earnest said. “And what that means is they will not have a legal basis for remaining in this country and will be returned.”
Critics fret that the kids will eventually go underground.
The Senate hearing came on a day when President Obama headed to Texas amid criticism the administration has been slow to react to the torrent of kids fleeing largely from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador....

I was "keeper of the juvenile records" during my last year on the job in 1998.
Harvard University since 1995 had some sort of project going in conjunction with the Chicago Police Department.
These were the days when it was decided that juveniles were anyone under 21 years of age, for certain reporting categories.
The problem was that at that time not enough juveniles were being taken into custody/arrested for possession & use of guns. The only way they could "save the children' was to generate numbers to make the expense worth the effort.
This meant that a 17 year old, having been arrested and convicted and sentenced to two years in the penitentiary in Illinois, and after being placed on parole AND arrested at the age of 20 years for gun possession was considered a juvenile for their reporting process
I wonder what the ages are of these 'children'.

Homeland Security, Feds Swarm Small (Illinois) Town in Bizarre Unannounced Show of Force

Homeland Security agents, backed by police SWAT teams, armored vehicles and a Black Hawk helicopter staged a bizarre unannounced show of force in front of a school in a small Illinois town, scenes which will exacerbate concerns about the increasing militarization of U.S. law enforcement.
Residents of Livingston, IL., population 850, were shocked to see agents from Homeland Security, the US Customs and Border Patrol and local police agencies swarm a field belonging to a grade school yesterday, with one local telling news channel KTVI, “When all the armored trucks started showing up and everything it made me kind of nervous.”
One child said he thought the spectacle was “pretty cool” and that agents invited the local children to check out the choppers up close, despite the presence of weapons inside the helicopters.
The school superintendent said he was not given any information about the operation beforehand, despite authorities using school land as a staging ground. The U.S. Attorney’s Office refused to release any information on the purpose behind the operation.
KTVI labeled the presence of the feds a “mystery,” although it subsequently emerged that the school was being used as a staging ground for a raid on a house three miles away. Authorities refused to divulge the purpose behind the raid or if anyone was taken into custody.

Feds run out of money fighting illegal immigration
The Obama administration has called on lawmakers to approve an additional $3.7 billion in funds for border control and child health services to adequately address the flood of child migrants arriving in the US from Central America.
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and US Customs and Border Protection are due to run out of funds by mid-August and mid-September, respectively, if the amount of migrants crossing the southwest US border from the likes of Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador continues apace, US Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said Thursday.
Should Congress refuse to offer emergency funding, "we will have to go to a harsh form of reprogramming that will take money away from some vital homeland security programs I am sure members of this committee care a lot about," Johnson said at a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing, according to the Los Angeles Times

Meanwhile, Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell said at the hearing that her department is due to run out of beds at temporary housing facilities if the amount of unaccompanied minors coming over the border continues at rates seen in May and June.
She warned that children would be held in much-scrutinized detention centers, or “holding pens,” along the border for extended periods should the extra funding for child services not materialize.
Burwell added that it costs anywhere from $250 to $1,000 for the US to contract out health, education, and other services for one occupant at temporary holding facilities. A grantee that assumes such services from the government is often a some sort of religious organization, the HHS secretary said.

You left the most important part out of the Night and Fog. Once seized and relocated, they were killed. That was the purpose, not just to relocate but to kill Jews. Kind of an important point to have left out. There is a film made in 1955 titled Night and Fog (1955) "Nuit et brouillard" that is about that. Subtitles.
That was the first time I saw on film various allied army personnel using bulldozers to bury the dead, there was so many dead, the fastest way to deal with the many bodies was to plow a series of trench graves and bulldoze the bodies in.

I just wonder why AMERICAN politicians would allow our society to be invaded by ill and illiterate 3rd world hordes, demanding social services we already can't afford? I am at this point, throwing in the towel. We are done. I disagree you need to re-read the orig post yourself. It's written between the lines my friend. The usual smoke and mirrors, "hey! Look at the kids here that we should worry about, not these new ones coming in!" Not one word denouncing these illegals being allowed in, just the old "hey, look this way, don't look at the elephant in the room!" Hence, probably a liberal.

Um, the last case of drug-resistant TB I heard about on the news was carried by an undocumented employee working at a Mcdonalds. Could be why you're seeing cases at the county (welfare) hospital and lockup....
