Both of us are Latino's and we grew up in Latin neighborhoods that were ridden with gangs and crime. I remember being harassed and beaten by those gangbanger cowards. My brother was beaten so severely one time that he was hospitalized for close to a month.
These gang banger pieces of shit are terrorists. They terrorize their own people. Our own people and this can not stand. Now I have a gun, a pair of handcuffs, a fancy car and a taser. Now I get to terrorize these fucking assholes. But I do it in a good way (perfectly legal). Two nights ago we stop a car full of Spanish 4 Corner Hustlers. The driver is suspended. So we long form him and impound his car and tell the occupants to go walk home. Another night we 501'd an old school Latin King. He may be 44 years old but he is still a piece of shit who probably terrorized his own people back in the day. These gang banging pieces of shit deserved to get fucked with while the decent hard working people should be left alone. And that is why I am a proactive officer working in the hood.
Chief Keef is doing his part to end the cycle of violence. His music is a force for good and for world peace.

Nothing, half of the community has outstanding warrants. That shithead that got killed in SC had outstanding warrants. When I worked in the ghetto I name checked everyone, victims too, many times the victims had warrants and they went in. "But I called the poleese" they would protest. I loved taking the victims to jail, they would then say they don't want the offender locked up, great, warrants are easier to process.

We need more younger aggressive officers on 1st watch. Most of the young guys are runnin and gunnin but we don't have enough aggressive officers. Look at the stats Commander Pena. See the arrest activity of the officers and you will a pattern. The data does not lie. Reward the workers and punish the guys who don't do shit.

If a supervisor or anyone else terminates the chase that means- terminate the chase. If you keep chasing and someone gets hurt because of your actions you are fucked. Despite it all, some officers get their ego wrapped up and will keep chasing. That is stupid. Also read the entire general order on vehicle pursuits. The whole order is written in a way to cover the city and put the entire weight of the vehicle pursuit on you- "reasonable" and "balancing test" is stated multiple times in the order. All the city has to do to pass the buck to you is: "it wasn't reasonable and or the officer did not apply the balancing test".

It think a lot of posters thought you were being funny because you are so gung ho. You get it though. We still have tools to use out there. I've been retired for a few, but I can tell you that the bangers feared me as much as the boys with their hats on backwards. I took their cars, took their licenses, got them suspended, DUI'd them and cost them money. Some went to "real jail" too. I knew what they drove and I dinged them everyday and twice on holidays. I was never sued for it and it made the day go faster.
Don't tell me it's just pimpy stuff. What are you doing? So many guys sitting around wringing their hands telling everyone that will listen that the liberals killed policing. The above comment has me mystified. I really do not think that there are many black Catholics in Chicago and the ones that are here just don't attend or practice. If you have ever attended a mass at St. Sabinas, and I have when I worked in 006, you will find that it is more Baptist then it is catholic. I believe that once Fr. Faker leaves Sabina, the attendance will nose dive. In fact, he has threatened to leave the catholic church himself and start an independent movement. Probably the only thing that keeps him at Sabina is the substantial money support from the arch diocese.

Two other counts, dealing with claims against former Ferguson police chief Thomas Jackson and former Officer Darren Wilson, were dismissed as “redundant,” Weber said. He said the Browns could refile those claims if the corresponding counts were dismissed later for other reasons.
In a hearing that dealt mainly with legal technicalities, Webber declined to dismiss two other counts challenged by the city. He said those might fall later, because Brown’s parents may not be able to make those claims for an adult child. Brown was 18 when he was fatally shot by Wilson on Aug. 9.
Lawyers for the city said that the family cannot make certain constitutional claims on behalf of Brown. But Brown family lawyer Jasmine Rand said that Brown was not independent of his parents. He was living with family and was still being supported by his parents, she told Webber.
Webber said that he would allow the Brown family lawyers time to explore whether the existence of a city insurance policy means that Ferguson cannot claim “sovereign immunity” against another part of the lawsuit.
The case was originally filed in St. Louis County Circuit Court but was moved at the request of the defense, which said it brings up constitutional issues better dealt with in federal court.
The suit claims the city fostered a culture of hostility that helped lead to Brown’s death in a confrontation with Wilson. Separate investigations by a St. Louis County grand jury and the U.S. Department of Justice found that Wilson acted within the law.

It's a little different than what the congressman claims. Actually it is liver failure that causes the confusion, not the hep c. Hep C ruins the liver, the resulting cirrhosis eventually causes liver failure and the confusion. Just prior to death. Is the congressman dead? Has Guam capsized? More excuses from a moron democrat. And they keep reelecting this idiot? Wow, the electorate there must be really really stupid.
There is a cure for Hep C now. It is near 100% effective and costs around $180k. Peanuts on a congressman's health insurance.

If your a Latino cop and do your job in the Latino community that's great. If your a black cop and do your job in the black community that is also great. If your a white cop and want to do your job in a black or latino community your are considered the enemy and will get screwed for doing your job. And that's the truth. Look at all the white cops getting screwed for doing their job there. That's the problem. I'm sure just about all police officers would love to be able to do their job.
